Breeders Beware is back! Posted By Ghosthande on 7/14/2008 |
|
|
I've fixed up the coding and pieced the site back together. It even has an original agent available to download (the blackbird). And I'm working on a breed, too. So stop by if you get the chance, it's just a small site but it's growing.

Bellura Swamps - Coming Soon Posted By Karias on 7/1/2008 |
|
|
I've been working on a new metaroom, part of a larger project. The Bellura Swamps! This metaroom is still in the works, but I've decided to show the public some sneak peaks. The room is just a little longer and larger than your screen, and is full of marshy life forms as well as a couple secret things, but all in good time for you to find out the rest! It should be complete once the first Survivor game is over.

Astropetz is Changing! Posted By Draconorn on 5/31/2008 |
|
|
There's going to be some major changes to my website soon!
Firstly, it's being renamed from Astropetz to Heartlands and is undergoing a COMPLETE rebuild. Secondly, I'll be moving from www1.webng.com/draconorn to draconorn.webng.com.
This move won't take place until I actually finish my new website, so if you visit the old URL you'll get a giant picture of a fuzzy fellow telling you the new URL.
All my norn adoptions that were on my old website will be posted at the Creature Repository, but my genetic breeds will be moved over to Heartlands.
So... yeah. I thought I ought to let you all know ^-^

6/7/08 UPDATE!!
The move to Heartlands is complete!

openC2e Goes Alpha Posted By Daan on 5/24/2008 |
|
|
openc2e is the open source Creatures engine which has been in development for some time now.
The team working on the project is proud to announce the release of Alpha 0.1, the first build released publicly. The purpose of this alpha is to demonstrate the rapid development of Creatures 1 support. Beware however: this build is no way complete, and is merely a presentation of what's to come. Don't expect to start up a batch of norns you wish to keep just yet.
openc2e is an engine that is completely rewritten, with the ability to further develop the possibilities. One of the primary goals is to emulate the original games, and allow them to be run on newer systems such as XP and Vista, and other systems that don't support the out-dated 16-bit system. openc2e has been developed to work on three major platforms: Ubuntu, Windows, and Mac OS X. Currently, not all of these are equally far in development.
If you wish to download Alpha 0.1, go to http://www.openc2e.org. |
Show Your Patriotism Posted By Rascii on 4/27/2008 |

...or just let everyone know where you're currently living! There's a new feature on Creatures Caves that allows users to select the country in which they reside to be displayed on their profile and in the forums.

All you have to do is log in to your My Caves account, click on "Edit Profile" and then select the country of your choice. A small flag will be displayed on both your user profile and alongside your forum posts.
If you have any suggestions, or would like to see another country added (I'm still in the process of populating the list), then please post a comment at the following link.
