For the edification of Creatures fans everywhere! Steve Grand's Creatures Archive pages contain an assortment of never-before-published, design-related documents that the father of Creatures wrote whilst developing the game. To quote Mr. Grand himself, "If you've ever wondered where Creatures came from, or why it has the strange mishmash of elements it does, then here are the reasons..." Of particular interest in this gallery of documents was "Small Furry Creatures: A Mythography" which tells the tale of the climate, geography, and mythology behind Creatures, Steve's Programming Diary, Apearance, and I am Ron's Brain. All together, if you have the time, this Archive is a wonderfully informative body of work! Thank you Mr. Grand! |

I'm sure you've noticed all of the Person Of the Week topics in the Strangeo forum, well that's what this page is about! Another new agent has been released over at Albia 2000. Like the previous vendor released, it is a new fruit vendor. This time Cherries! Your creatures will love this yummy treat!  There's an all new metaroom that you've probably heard of if you visit the forums here often. It's created by Liger (original idea by fizzstickle) and is twice as large as Terra! You can check out images, screenshots, and read tons of information about it in this week's EXTRA ARTICLE! All of the content of the article is 100% exclusive to Creatures Caves... You won't see any of this anywhere else until the metaroom is released and you're viewing it in DS! There are a bunch of updates over at Amanora's Creatures! New Norn graphics have been added to the Creatures 2 gallery. Also, the C3 gallery is now open, so you can have a look at all of the awesome new C3 Nornart!  Last but not least, 20 new Canny Norns have arrived in the C2 norn archives. One of our most Treasured websites, Adventures in Nornsitting! has been updated. Wafuru has added a new Norn art to her 'My Artwork' page which, although may not seem like major news to some, will be a welcome sign to others that Wafuru - the artist behind the Kai, Scorpio and Mer norns for C2 and the Gecko, Lilac Bengals and Shag-A-Delic norns for C3 - is still part of the CC. |

I stumbled across something really cool today! It's a really long, detailed page full of chat statistics from JRChat. It gives information on people, tells who does what, who is in when, who talks a lot and who's been kicked a lot, etc. Very interesting stuff! You can check out the short-term statistics (past 60 days) at this page or the long-term at this page. JRChat statistics brought to you in part by GreenReaper.  In other news, Creatures Caves reached 30,000 site hits today! The hit counter started during January of 2003, so that's about 6,000 hits every month! The total number of hits for all of 2002 was (as far as I can remember) 30281. This means that the record for all of last year was beat in five months this year! So after hearing this great news, keep those hits commin'. |
