Hannibal lived in the medical bay. He stole the organs of many of the Creatchis foolish enough to wander into his domain, but the members of his large and royal extended family were free to come and go without harm. He met Lyssia, and although she could not have been more different from him, fell head over heels in love with her. They married, and together they had two children, Zabuza and Hanna. They also adopted the lonely Banana, whose origins remain unknown to this day.

He loved music, drawing, cooking, and memorizing the many texts in the medical bay. A highly intelligent Creatchi, he learned much in his lifetime, and was fluent in many languages. After a full life, he died in the Gardens, next to his future headstone.

Lyssia hangs around for a few hours, only leaving to get Hannibal a blanket, knowing he wouldn't need it for long, but just feeling like she had to. Eventually, deciding to leave, she kisses the top of his head, and say that she will see around someday.

Hannibal kisses Lyssia and strokes her hair. He tells her that he has to go soon, but that she won't have to wait too long to see him again. He settles down next to a blank headstone and closes his eyes, imagining one of his favorite musical pieces.

Lyssia wanders around the statue for a bit, pulling up random weeds, before turning to Hannibal. She starts to say something but gives up, and just gives him a bear hug.

Zabuza stays in the medbay to study these books his dad gave him.

Hannibal takes Lyssia to the Gardens, showing her the many plants. He explores a little-tended area, hoping to find some sort of memorial ground tucked away. Lo and behold, there is a statue of Eddie, almost completely obscured by trees. He leaves the rock at its base.

She is surprised that there is a garden near the medbay, but happily agrees to go.

Hannibal takes the rock and traces his finger along the carving. He asks Lyssia if she wants to come for a walk in the Gardens.

Lyssia looks at him for a second then hugs him. She says that that is amazing and that she totally found, what she thinks is his old shack, but it washed away in a huge wave. She did find this strange rock with a flying fish carving though, and she hands it to him.

Hannibal smiles, and explains that he is a direct descendant of Eddie.
