 There's been talk lately of the Creatures Community needing a boost, something that will bring everyone together and inject sparkle into our (arguably) dwindling numbers. Well, AquaShee has come up with an idea for a fun, new project, which I believe could be just what we need!THE COMMUNITY SCRIBBLE: A metaroom that will be hand drawn by as many community members as possible.  Today is Christmas Eve (in the UK anyway), and I'd just like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas! Thank you for continuing to make the Creatures Community a place I love and enjoy. With that sentiment, I hope you all have a fantastic day tomorrow, however you spend it.  |

 After a sudden and unexpected laptop recovery, I am very pleased to announce that Discover Albia will be returning! All of those weeks and even months away from Creatures were quite sad, and I missed our wonderful little community more than I thought I would. The positive comments and inspiration I get from everyone mean more to me than words can express, and I'm so excited to get back into writing again!A new Creatures 1 world is about to be started, and I have many more ideas in store! Hopefully there will be something for everyone as I move forward with some of the projects I had originally hoped to bring to life. Although I will not be continuing the original Discover Albia world, the remaining Norns won't quite disappear into the depths of the abyss... Keep an eye out for an update on what will happen to the original bunch! Thank you to each and every one of you who enjoys Discover Albia! I hope that my stories, ramblings, and ideas offer another way to experience Creatures.  You got that right! Five days of effort went into this. The Creatures Agent Object Scripting Highlighter for ConTEXT, now available exclusively on Creatures Caves. Here are the steps to get your own copy:1) Go to this topic. 2) Copy the code provided. 3) Fire up Notepad and paste code. 4) Save the file as "CAOS_Syntax.chl" with the quotes to force the .chl file extension (or, save it as "CAOS_Syntax.txt" without quotes and change extension to .chl after saving it). Hey everyone! With only 8 weeks to go until this year's Creatures Community Spirit Festival, it's time to start organising what's going to be released and when--and in order to do that, I need to get an idea of what kind of releases we'll be seeing! If you have anything you are interested in releasing or organising this CCSF, please send me an email at ccsf.2010@gmail.com. I need to know what it is, and if you'll need help getting it done on time. Please be as specific and provide as much information as you can to help me sort out how this will all work.  Do you ever wish that the mall-only breed packs were available to buy once again?Emidawg wrote on Creaturetopia: I took a long shot and emailed Gameware about the no longer available breed packs for the C3/DS and asked them if they were willing to release them to GOG.com so that they might be purchasable again. I received a response from their CEO saying that they would be glad to, as long as GOG decided there was a demand for them. You can now vote on the GOG wishlist, sign the petition or send suggestions. |

 The well known community hub Albia2000 is suffering from malicious pop-ups.If you were planning to go to Albia2000 today - don't visit it. For those who do, if a screen appears informing you that it has detected viruses on your machine, close the window, or if that is not possible then turn off the computer and then turn it on again to exit the cunning browser pop-ups by force. You can always run a virus check with your own virus scanner (or AVG free) later. Never click download, install, run, scan or any other options on these fake Windows alert popups. Update: The problem only seems to occur when you visit the site via a search engine, and not if you type in the address manually. |
