A new site has been born! And on it's birthday of June 4th, it was named...
Aw(e) Cavern!
This site for the Creatures Community is brand new, but will soon feature Adoptions, Information about the Creatures Games as a whole, Genetics, Tips and much more!
It's fairly new, but will be updated a little every day till the site is as full as it needs to be.
The Aw(e) Cavern will also keep tabs on the development of Creatures 4 and have current links of Creature Community sites!
Hopefully it will be useful to all...
... and Aw(e)some.

For those of you who are new to the Creatures series, or have a newer operating system and are looking to upgrade your games, GOG.com has some good news:
We know that's the kind of news you like to hear and we're very glad we can announce another price drop in the GOG.com catalogue. From today until the end of days all Creatures games available on GOG.com, which include Creatures Village, Creatures Exodus and Creatures: The Albian Years, are now $5.99 each!
That's not a time limited discount, it's a permanent price change, so now you can breed your own cute, furry, little Norns for cheap. |
Breaking news concerning..

Today Grandroids has been funded! We are very happy about this news, and Steve Grand is too! You can read it here.
We will, of course, stay up-to-date with the Grandroids project, and everyone who backed it will get a message from Steve regarding how to access the official Grandroids website.
I, and others, wish all the best to Steve Grand and the beta testers. A big thank you also goes to all the backers! |
What better way to shake off those "Where's Creatures 4?" blues than news of an exciting new project by the mind behind Creatures, Steve Grand!
Grandroids: Real Artificial Life on Your PC
He writes:
Imagine that someone has discovered alien creatures on a nearby planet and is planning to import them to Earth to sell as pets. Would you want to buy one?
What would you do with it? Where should you keep it? What is it capable of? Does it have alien dreams, hopes, fears? Does it have its own primitive language? Its own culture? What should you feed it? What makes it sick and how do you look after it? Can this species safely coexist with that species? Is it possible to get the creatures to breed, here on Earth? Might they evolve? Can we understand their biology? Can we interpret the structure of their brains? Are they conscious? Should they have rights?
If these are not the kinds of question that would run through your mind, this isn't the project for you. But if they are, read on, because I need your help...
