 On the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the eleventh year of the new millennium, cheese will cover the world. That's what the famous Shee astrologer Nostradammer had to say. Apparently, he was right!Ylukyun's Multiplying Cheese Agent can cover your world in cheese, cheese and more cheese, since every bite makes your cheese double! Nirax has opened a brand new website with lots of useful modifications for your worlds, such as removing those pesky tags from Ettin eggs! (Not from mattresses though, that'd be illegal) Marvin42 has designed a template you can print out to make your very own paper norn! Razgriz sent in some lovely artwork of a group of Norns saying 'Greetings to Everyone!' Meanwhile, elsewhere in the CC, ArchDragon has uploaded the second chapter of his 'Creatures 1: As Life Began' story!  The Creatures Community Spirit Festival is nearing completion, and from what I've herd, it well behooves today's mane release that it's made of ponies!... yeah, that didn't make much sense to me either, so let's get to it! Today's releases are from Laura, Vatrena and HolyTomato. Laura has outdone herself with a whole herd of My Little Ponies to go with the Applejack toy from earlier this CCSF! From Rainbow Dash to Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle, these toys are sure to bring a little of Ponyville to C3/DS! Also included with these adorable toys is Applejack's cart, which you can use to carry norns or store small items in! Make sure to download this toy pack ASAP. Vatrena has released her Improved C2 Weasley norns, which is a collection of genetically engineered norn pairs to spice up your Albian genetic pool. There are five pairs in all, so if you're a C2 player you'll have to check them out! Finally, HolyTomato has released some teasers for her upcoming Creatures comic, Albian Creatures! These awesome illustrations are well worth a gander, so head over to the CCSF website and check them out! I can't wait to see what HolyTomato has in store for the comic itself. Included is the zombie-like grendel Tuula, as well as Snaga, a psychedelic grendel and Daniel, an adorable crossbred norn!  It's Day 9 of the CCSF 2011 and we have neat stuff!AquaShard has made C3/DS egg agents of the C2 Norn breeds, to give us CFE C2toDS Norns. Sounds like a great combination if you ask me! Then we have some great C1 Norns from Discover Albia. Ever wished you could scritch those sweet little blog stars on the nose? Now you can! We also have some great reading material: NornBreeder has released a poem titled 'The Hatchling', and ArchDragon has released the beginning of a fanfic titled 'Creatures 1: As Life Began'. We also have some cute adoptions today, including the species-confused (but very cute) Ettin Lambdadelta, fluffy little Bairon (pictured), and dancin' Grigory. |

 Now that we're officially past the halfway point in the CCSF, there's no turning back! It's hard to believe that after a week full of awesome, there's a second week with even more awesome!And today we get our first dose of awesome with the following neat things: Ghosthande's Dynamic Blooming Flowers are the ultimate challenge for the modern gardener! Jessica's C1 No-Mutate Norns lets you raise a family of Norns without having to worry about sudden extra heads or Grendel tails instead of arms (what? It could happen)! Sam999 made an amazing woodwork of the famous Gaia, as you can see in the picture. Amaikokonut has been a busy bee, making an agent for us to teach Norns verbs and abstract concepts without having to rely on learning computers! Go check all of these wonderful things out at the Creatures Community Spirit Festival! Don't forget to check out the various contests, too! There's a lovely prize for the winners! |

There are a number of different techniques used to raise Norns, ranging from a very hands-on approach, to allowing for self-teaching. Enjoy watching these different methods in place on YouTube by the talented Lusewing! She takes a look at how young Norns are affected by these different methods. Wow! I can't believe it's been a week already of the Creatures Community Spirit Festival 2011! Today, Grendel-Man and Nirax have released their Past Seas metaroom - a cosy C1 and C2 inspired metaroom that is a homage to the vibrant past of the ocean - both Albian and Earth's. You can see Jack and Aliena, two Gizmo norns who look a little grendelish, enjoying a swim, sent in by Aliena.  Grendel-Man has also released the predatory Banshee Hydrolisks, a breed of grendel that gets nourishment from hunting down norns.. eek! Marvin42 has discovered a Lemonade Vendor by the Empathic Vendor in the DS Meso, and wanted to share a drop.  Click here to discuss this news post in the forums. |

Alright, if you thought the first few days of the festival were good, don't worry, we're just getting warmed up.   Don't feel you got enough Portal action from Ghosthande's Portal Object Pack? Well then, thank goodness for Tercercois2cool, who has added the Wheatley Hand Replacement. Yes that's right Portal fans, now you can have Wheatley chatting away to your Norns with all his... urm... charm! Anyone here a fan of the Terra Pluvialis metaroom from 2006? Well Malkin is back with a vengeance, bringing us the TP2DS Pack. Now you can bring all your favourite TP agents into the rest of your world, with or without the original metaroom. But it's not all C3 releases today. Take a step back in time and enjoy some C2 love with the Updated Canny Ettins from Jessica. If you've used this breed in the past you may have been disheartened with their breeding abilities. Rest assured this has now been rectified and you will have little baby Ettins running about in no time. And finally, a little more Ettin love with this fan art piece from Ylukyun. But don't think the fun stops there. We also have a new Species Guessing Game by Ylukyun, a couple of new toys from Amaikokonut and an update to Pirate-Rob's Grendel Jungle Competition. I'm replacing Malkin today for your daily Creatures Community Spirit Festival news here on Creatures Caves! I'm a little new at this whole thing but together I'm sure we can do it! Let's see... AquaShee picks up one of his notes. Lots of new wonderful things today! First up is The Hub by Annex, which is a very useful metaroom filled to the brim with doors to connect various metarooms all over the ship! Scooby Doo chase scene? Yes please! Next we have Ylukyun's More Pack! More what? More awesome! It brings various fun and useful objects from the Ark to the Capillata for your Norns to play with. Seems like Malkin has combined the best of C1 and C3 in her Forest CFE Treehugger Norns! That's a bit of a mouthful, but these adorable Norns combine cute looks of the C1 Forest Norns with the brainy cleverness of the famous CFE Norns for C3 and DS! Today we'll also need 1 gallon of milk, a carton of eggs, shampoo,... Wait, wrong note! AquaShee quickly tucks his shopping list in his pocket and picks up the right note. Sorry about that, let's move on... Mea has drawn a wonderful picture titled 'What Will You Become?' featuring the cutest baby Norn ever and his almost-as-handsome-as-me Shee caretaker.  On day three of the Creatures Community Spirit Festival, C-Rex has unveiled his Salamander Norns, a carnivorous genetic breed for C3/DS with special respiratory requirements.Ghosthande has uncovered an update to Sir Lormis's Gaius experiments from last festival, including additional 'plants' and a new 'critter'! Grendelle has created a unique norn doll, with hand-sculpted face, hands and feet and a rather punk hairdo. Using the medium of 'creepypasta', Sam999 has gazed into the future, taking a speculative look at how we may interact with the world of Creatures Ten. From fallowbelinda's world, Sheelok has arrived, a well-behaved and long lived norn. Laura has contributed a mated pair - Alfonso the daring Purple Mountain Norn and his intended, Allie, who stars in the Caption Competition! |

 On Day Two of the Creatures Community Spirit Festival, AquaShee has released the alpha of the Scribble Room, which has been in development since December 2010!The prologue of Jessica's epic tale, 'The Tolthian Creature Tales Book One: A World Divided' makes its debut as well. For anyone who's a fan of Jessica's Norn tales at Discover Albia, this is a real treat! Luna is a DS adoption of Officer-1BDI's, who gengineered her in tribute to a special, shy, C1 Norn. Fan is a baby Norn of mine, who was born as I was playing Azumizai's Breeding Challenge. Pirate-Rob has made an altered mushroom .cos file in preparation for his Grendel Jungle Competition later this week. Amaikokonut has also released a couple of goodies! The first is a very useful catalogue tester, which will check if your Windows version of Creatures Exodus is installing catalogue files as it should, and the second is the quirkily-named Protective Hub. This is a strange and amusing autonamer, one which you've certainly seen if you watch Live Nornish Action. Speaking of Live Nornish Action, it will be kept running with special previews of CCSF releases, so keep your eyes peeled! |

 For the first day of the CCSF, Ghosthande has released a pack of Portal-inspired agents, including the Companion Cube, GLaDOS's Cake, the Intelligence Core, a Radio, Scoport and the Turret.Sam has submitted a Grendel adoption and a piece of artwork depicting that Grendel doing what he loves. Ylukyun has made a banner wishing all a happy CCSF, a spirit I'm glad to see around. Tisairy has contributed three adoptions for today: Fig G., a sweet Grendel, Kazil, who has a unique reaction to feeling friendly, and Quinca the long-limbed wanderer. ArchDragon has released some of his older artworks on his blog, The Arch. There are three new competitions to enter this CCSF. Fancy designing the 'Norn Breed of the Future'?
