  After an avalanche buried all four Survivors, Bearthing the Undesirable and Panda-mist have been voted off. Bearthing and Panda-mist teamed up early on and explored a hidden cavern, where they discovered a 'box of boom' and pillaged the dread Shee-Dragon's lair. Panda was forced to leave Bearthing behind and ventured to the surface, where she was promptly buried by an avalanche, and dug out by mea. Keep an eye out for Grendel Man's Message In A Bottle column for more of the highlights!The contest of the week will be announced on Monday for our final pair of Survivors, mea and c1anddsaddict. Follow their adventures in their journals - the survivor with the most votes will be evicted on February 1st, when the Survivor Week 5 poll closes. Don't forget to vote!  As Creatures 4 comes ever closer, Fishing Cactus have begun introducing special treats for Creatures fans who follow their posts.If you noticed a photo last month of this stack of packaged Norns with the question 'Who wants to adopt them?', and you answered 'Yes' before the 11th, then you might be one of the 22 or so lucky fans who won a Norn model!! So, competition winners - race to the forums and post a photo of your Norn when it arrives, and to the rest of you - come check out the photos and keep watching the News posts here in case spot the next challenge  |

Over the past several years, many people have been hoping for a more up-to-date, centrally located and searchable script reservation system. Well, ladies and gentleman, we now have our very own here at Creatures Caves. It is accessible via the Community section link at the top. It is based on a file that I received from Ghosthande in 2010, so I'm sure there are many reservations missing. You may use the form at the top of the page to request a reservation for yourself. However, if you wish to request a reservation for a user who is not active anymore, please send me a private message and I'll add it for you. You may also reply to the corresponding forum thread if you have any questions or issues with the list. So far only the C3/DS list has been populated (and trust me, it took me aaaages to enter all of the data into the database). (Update: C2 is now done also.) If you have any suggestions on how the list can be improved, please let me know! I added all of the users' email addresses to the database as well, but due to security reasons I didn't make them available (as they were on the previous list). I may add a "request contact information" link whereby the users' email address will be sent to you via private message or something. Again, suggestions welcome. |

 In response to user request, the Resources section here at Creatures Caves has had a fanfiction category added for completed fiction. This will make completed stories easier to read in the wider format, and comments are displayed underneath stories. We hope to read some good stories posted there soon! |

Fishing Cactus is making an "Ambassador" position for members of the Creatures Community - this position would entail assisting Fishing Cactus to moderate the Creatures 4 forums. The Ambassadors would have access to Sophie and Pascal - the Cacti who run the social media sites and the official blog. The Ambassador title would also guarantee access to the closed Creatures 4 Beta when it starts. UPDATE:23rd January: Fishing Cactus is holding a Poll for the next 48 hours to help determine the five ambassadors! Each person may only vote for one choice, and this should hopefully result in the five ambassadors by the weekend. Good luck to everyone! |

 An all-new website section called Bibble is now open! Essentially, the old user status updates have been renamed bibbles, and you may now comment on and like them. You can view all of the bibbles in the Bibble section, and you can still bibble from the My Caves main page or from the section itself. Bibble is basically the twitter of the Creatures Community. There is a 140 character limit, though you may use commands and smilies in them. More features to come! |

Lisha's adventures include lots and lots of fishing, and Hawk's adventures include losing her white pen in the white snow and falling into the deep sleep of hyper-nation.
