Do you use Trix's Maraquan Grendels? Have you noticed the floating arms of the adolescent and older grendels? Want those arms to remain firmly attached to the rest of the grendel?
This fix, Grendel Man's first foray into body data editing, is just what you're looking for!
These four Norns, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta, are sick! And it's up to you to save them, for fame and glory! This is essentially a puzzle, with difficulty ranging from somewhat easy to incredibly hard. Each Norn has some kind of affliction. The goal is to cure each Norn with one line of CAOS, entered at the CAOS prompt (Shift-Ctrl-C).
Rules:
1) It must not create an agent to execute code repeatedly for the rest of the Norn's life. The solution is a cure, not repeatedly applied treatment.
2) The usage of external tools to figure things out is allowed, and encouraged, but the solution MUST be a line of CAOS. Using an external tool to adjust things does not count as having solved it.
3) I am ok with discussion of the puzzles, including solutions, but please do so only in threads marked as spoilers, and please hide your spoilers and indicate what you are spoiling. Someone might want to see spoilers for Beta but not Delta, for example.
Just like last year, the Realm is offering the community a gift for Grendel Man's 21st birthday in the form of a pair of releases.
The W-Runner Grendels are a DS-themed breed that doubles as a wolfing-run friendly one, while the Offline Portals serve as an artificial warp for everyone who longs for the real deal - both creatures and hands.
Hopefully, this serves as a fitting conclusion for the long string of releases this month, even if it's broken the streak of aquatic releases. I hope you'll enjoy these, and have a great summer!
The Realm has certainly been producing plenty of releases this month. This time, the offerings are the Swimming Aqua Grendels and, more notably, the Sea Garden Pack One that consists of the Sea Pen and the Coralroot.
Whether you feel like your aquatic world needs some more variety in breeds or some additional food sources, this pair of releases will certainly help liven things up.
After much anticipation, I am pleased to announce that the initial release of the Colortrue Pearl Mermaid Norns is now available to download! Enjoy six color varieties, in addition to the standard pigmentation. Interested in a little more than just the egg agents? The download includes a quick tutorial on how to make eggs hatch underwater, and also includes a Readme with plenty of information.
Still looking for more? Pick up a few packs of females and/or males to add a little more color to your worlds! These Norns were featured in the recent wolfling runs, and represent a wide spectrum of colors.
AlphaChat (the server that hosts CC Chat) was experiencing some problems with their website and web client yesterday, but happily these issues have now been fixed and everyone should be able to connect via the CC Chat page as normal.
Thank you for your patience, and we hope to see you all in there!
I've talked about these guys quite a bit in my bibbles - I even posted four of them before their proper release. Well, I've refined them now, and they're ready to move into whatever aquatic area you have open for them.
The Coral Reef ChiChi Norns are now available at the Realm! They need to be underwater to breathe, but they're also very social and very colorful. If your oceans need some color, they just might be what you're looking for!
DAZ Studio 4.6 is once again being offered for free for a limited time. Mea used an earlier version of this program to render the trees in Silence Falls.
Mea recommends DAZ Studio for rendering not only metaroom backgrounds, but the program can also be used for posing and rendering agents and creatures.
The release of the Colortrue Pearl Mermaid Norns is just around the corner, but first, it's time for a rather unique experience leading up to the breed's release: A pre-release aquatic Wolfling Run! This will feature the color varieties of these Norns in a beautiful underwater environment. There currently is not a cap on the number of participants, as multiple rounds will be used if necessary. These Norns will also use a point system to determine the winner. Make sure to read all of the details!
The best part is the unique prize for the winner: Choose from three excellent options!

If you haven't had enough sea anemones yet, I've finally managed to get around to making my revamp of the Oasis/Biodome Anemones. Not only do they add life to saltwater areas, they also provide underwater creatures with food, entertainment...and danger. Beware of the purple anemone; it may be pretty, but it's also a nasty weed!
More information and news about the CCSF 2013 will be coming soon, likely from the main coordinator (Darby) herself! Keep an eye out for submission information and the like. November will be here before we know it!
Still wishing for a soft little Norndoll of your very own? In a colour of your choice? Look no further! Darby's Project Teddy contest has not ended! Sign up for Round 3 for a chance to win!
If you're in need of some aquatic decor, then I've just the thing for you. These C2 anemones should help add life to any aquatic area you find dull and boring, and can even entertain your creatures to boot!
