Then one of them suggested going on a Safari holiday o_O   Tashes   7/31/2007 One time I had a dream that the whole world was being flooded with lava. All the surviving people were going to live in these caves, where I guess the lava wouldn't get them. My family was going to the caves, but I was FREAKING OUT, because my grandma wasn't with us, and I had to find her before the lava got her. But then I realized that I was just dreaming, and I went around telling everyone that it was going to be okay, because it was just a dream. Then I woke up. Lucid dreams are cool.   Megan   8/3/2007 Last night I dreamt I won £20 on the lottery but one of my teachers accused me of stealing it.   Dreamnorn   8/3/2007 Last night, I dreamed that I was at the Capillata hub with my friends, (usernames as follows) Victory, PianoPrincess, EvilSpirit, LadyMarava, and Julia, and we were all chatting and drinking milkshakes. All of a sudden, I fall off of the chair and down farther than the floor. It was insane! I heard the shrieks of all my companions as we fell! Then we landed on the floor of someplace. It was a Halloween themed metaroom, half submerged in water. "Wer'e in Zaharo!" gasped Julia. We explored around it and we suddenly saw... the lair of the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin! He was taming crocodiles in Zaharo as well as seaweed Grendels! The Grendels and crocodiles start chasing after us, I hear a shriek behind me, I turn around, and-- I woke up. Hawksight   Malkin Manager     7/8/2008 I dreamed I was a spy with Farrah Fawcett-style hair that went down to the small of my back. I was in hiding from an evil organisation (because, you know, it makes Perfect Sense to be in hiding with ginormous Farrah Fawcett hair.) and I had secret information that would one day topple the organisation. I was hiding as a live-in maid with a posh family and I spent most of my time babysitting their children. One day, I went with my host father to pick the children up from their posh school (which for some reason required ID cards) and somehow I managed to get someone else's ID card by accident. For the rest of the dream, I tried to return this ID card to its rightful owner and fretted more about it than about the evil organisation that I was hiding from. My TCR Norns   LuciaInFurs     7/8/2008 I love those sorts of dreams "Never mind *why*, it just *was*." I had a really horrible one a few nights back. It was post war, and all the city was crumbling down. Most of my friends had survived and some of us were travelling and scavenging together (we even telegrammed Jamie all the way up in Scotland.) I can remember every single thing, though I wont bore you with it here. I've started writing it into a sort of story though, more for my sake than for anyone else to read. the really horrible part, what made it stick with me, was that despite all the surreal events, people and places; my perception of the relationships between my friends was crystal clear and real. Everyone was in character, the right people saw right through me, the right people made me feel better. That so rarely happens with my dreams, normally anyone based on a real person is just a tiny shadow, looking only vaguely like they normally do with just a hint of their personality. I had a very weird dream the other night, which was sort of a Teen Titans meets Scooby Doo crossover. Imagine the Teen Titans running through a haunted mansion with the Scooby Doo theme playing in the background. xD Beast Boy looked like Scooby. They were on a case to find out who took my cat's feather toy, and discovered that it was Vaati the Wind Sorcerer, and it was somehow part of his bizarre plot to take over the world. "And I would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you pesky teenagers!" I need to get outside more.   Squishy-Fudge   7/11/2008 i had a dream about pokemon mystery dungeon 2 once. the next day, i found out it was in the works. Dun dun Dun also, sometiems i have dreams were they're just random clips, sometimes only seconds long, but there was this one, were i was in first person as me, and i was in a bowling alley and i was looking down the alley, then i turned and looked up to the screen then i woke up. that day, we went to the bowling alley and i looked down the alley then looked up at the screen, and got a weird feeling of deja vu. I may not put what happened in order, because I don't exactly remember the order it happend in, and I don't remember everything, so here is what I remember. This guy was yelling mean things to me and my grandfather that could get him in trouble. I asked a nearby police officer if you could get in trouble for saying those things, he said yes, and then the guy who said those mean things was arrested. Then me and some members of my family where in this park. Then, in another part, I was in an odd building and some kids where making fun of me and some other kids in my class. I was a little annoyed, so I used some kind of power and they dissapeared. Some strange thing told me that I teleported those kids to the building's incinorater. I didn't mean to do that. I realized the building was an Animal Hospital/a few other things. This guy asked me to hold this cat and walk around while holding it, and he would pay me 19$. I think the dream ended when I was done holding the cat. -GrayDragonEmily   Dreamnorn   7/20/2008 I dreamt last night that I was working in a cafeteria for aliens that looked a lot like my Snork (in the SPORE thread). I pictured myself wearing a hair-net and everything! o: It was really weird. xD   Malkin Manager     6/9/2009 I had this really embarrassing dream the other night... It was about this really dishy boy, (sigh...) and I dug him madly... He, of course, never knew I existed... I tried everything I could think of to get his attention, but I failed. Then one of my friends mentioned me to him, and he smiled, and was just about to come over and talk to me (ohmigod ohmigod!!!!)... when my dogs jumped on my stomach and I woke up. It really had a BSC sort of a feeling about it. The really wierd thing is, I haven't had a dream like that since I was about fourteen or something... and the guy was a complete stranger to me... and so were my friends in the dream... Anyone got any clues? My TCR Norns   c1anddsaddict   6/9/2009 I had a dream last night about being completely ignored. It was otherwise like a mix between battlestar galactica and furcadia. The characters from battlestar galactica were gathered on furcadia, preparing for the winter festival with a big new years celebration. Then, some cylons (evil robots, for those who don't know) stole the decorations. They sent three teenage boys and I begged to go with them, but they couldn't see or hear me. I decided to go anyway, and a weird creature in thick armor with a double ended axe started attacking. I was safe, it couldn't see me. It attacked the teenage boys and as I attacked it, it payed no attention to me whatsoever. Strange dream, huh. I've also had many wierd dreams, like going to a reenactment of Aragorn's coronation with the real actors. There were these cute little robots following people around. I went to the bathroom and right outside there was a cute teenage boy. At first, I liked him, then he destroyed the robot with a model lotr sword and I left. Then, my dad decided to go to the mall instead and I was SO mad. I had waited in line for hours for tickets. And we were in a house. And he suddenly pulled out a needle full of yellow liquid and started injecting the stuff into the rest of my family, killing them. I remember running out in my pajamas, running through my neighborhood, frightened that he was behind me, until I came to a house that had all the walls and floors ripped out, showing the skeleton and side panels. The couple that owned it was about to leave when I rushed in. They were going to leave the house with me, but I begged them to stay because I was afraid he would come back. They did decide to stay, and he did come back, and all of us were fighting against him again, and he looked like a bald vampire from an old movie, and he pointed the needle at me. I snapped the top of it off, and for some reason the needle part reattached itself and started coming at me again. I then snapped off that part, and that's when I woke up. Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)>   KC11     6/10/2009 Double posting, yeah, but I want to keep this organized: Dream: Started off in some building. People all had some sort of supernatural power. I had shapeshifting power (big surprise). Then there were these people that were kidnapping us. My friends immediately gave in to them, but I really put up a fight. However, I was eventually captured. Then it all zoomed out, like a movie, to reveal this whole sort of outdoors factory. People were putting their money in these giant tubes that said “To the Poor”. Then the camera went down into the tubes to reveal me, sitting in the tubes, collecting the money and sending it down another chute. Apparently, I had been drugged, so I couldn’t use my powers. Suddenly, I started crawling up the tube desperately. I was soon out, and I discovered that the drug didn’t stop my powers. It merely made me think that I couldn’t use my powers. All I had to do was get past that mental block In fact, the drug enhanced my powers. I hid, and I could hear the people part of the group that enslaved me talking about how they wish they could see one sparrow (there was so much smog around). Spontaneously, one of my friend appeared. I talked to him as if he had been there the whole time. I told him my plan. I turned into a sparrow and flew above their heads. They all squealed with delight. I then moved over to one of the ladies, flying just in front of her face. Slowly, I turned into a giant dragon. I turned my neck and roared at her. Everyone ran. I became a human and wandered over to this pool area, where I could see some of my friends being forced to go against each other in water polo. I could see a couple of my non water polo teammates on the side. I then told everyone that I could get them out of here. Then I crashed through the floor and just as I was crushed under some random boulder, the scene switched to show that I was playing a game. The screen then said “Game over.” and I swore. I then switched to the main menu on my game to reveal that I was playing Spore. O_o I clicked on a planet, and I found myself in the space stage, right next to the center of the universe. I clicked until I was finally at the center. The shell around the center exploded. I zoomed in. Everything went lucid. I kept on zooming in. Then I found that same factory again. I woke up. There was an airport in a canyon somewhere in the US and you could see the Burj Dubai (Biggest building in the world, but not THAT big) from it. my family and I were headed to Oklahoma, but I got on the wrong flight. It landed in a perfectly modern airport in ancient Egypt, complete with Wall-E advertisements. I got a flight back to the canyon, but I had to wait 24 hours, so I went to explore ancient Egypt. I met a really cute, really nice guy and he showed me the sights. Then, I flew back to my family, who had decided to go to modern Egypt. I went there and saw the tomb of the really cute, really nice guy and started crying. Then I woke up. DS village My TCR norns STAY AWAY FROM THE MOLDY, DISEASED CHICKEN NUGGET STASH!!!   rainbowcat1   6/11/2009 Malkin, I'm no psychologist, so this probably isn't very accurate, but maybe you like someone and you haven't conciously realized it yet. Or maybe there is some situation in your life that you really want to happen, but it hasn't yet. If you are anxious about being accpeted for a job or something, it could be that this dream is symoblic of it. Like I said, I'm not an expert, but if you can't draw a direct parallel between the dream and your life, there is probably some more symbolic meaning. Hope this maybe kind of sort of helped! "Everything you can imagine is real" ~Pablo Picasso   KC11     6/11/2009 Old nightmare of mine: I once had a dream where I was running away from a pirate skeleton and I suddenly dropped down this shaft where a skull ate me, then a skull within the skull ate me, and all the while the skulls were chanting something. I've always been afraid of skeletons for some reason, and this was just tramatic for me. Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)>   Malkin Manager     6/17/2009 Thanks, rainbowcat I'd say I'm more trying to move on from someone than liking someone and being too obstinate to realise it yet, but then, I might be fooling myself. Symbolism, eh? I had a dream, where I was in a uni-like institution, except it was all like harnessing our brain power, like in Seti at Home or something like that, to grant the faculty the power to build a doomsday device and control the world. (Why is my dream so unoriginal?) I met someone from my hometown (who was just a dream-stranger) in the Soylent Green line (the line to become SG, not to eat it) and we'd just made a pact to work together and get out of there... when I woke up, and my alarm clock read 6:15. I thought that was weird, and I woke up again, and my clock read 7:40. My TCR Norns   Tea Queen Laura     6/18/2009 I had a dream last night where my boyfriend proposed to me. I remember that the ring had a white gold band, with a single silver diamond. It was really pretty and I was really over the moon about getting married, but then I awoke and was hugely disappointed that it was just a dream, lol. Laura = It's strange I should dream of engagements though, because this morning I've just found out that one of my old school friends got engaged last night...   c1anddsaddict   6/19/2009 Recently I've had this re-curing dream where I'm in a car and my mom's driving on a long, straight highway with a bridge over it. All around is snow and mom and I talk about how weird it is because it NEVER snows here (At least, not at sea level. It snowed once in the mountains for a few minutes.) Photosynthesis...   Malkin Manager     6/21/2009 I had a really bizarre dream last night... me, my (female, tomboy) friend from school, my (male, brotherly) friend from school, and my other friend's longtime boyfriend decided to go camping together. Don't know where my friend was, whose boyfriend I was camping with. Think she may have been too busy. It was a hike camp, so we walked in with our stuff on our backs, and set up camp for the night. It was at a place I've done this before, although the flowers weren't blooming, as I've seen there in the past. We set up our tents, ridge tents, (which I don't use in my waking life, although I have slept in one once before), next to each other - there was a green one for the boys and a cream one for the girls. Because That's The Done Thing. I'm not entirely sure if I like sleeping in cream tents - on the one hand, at night, it's light as anything, on the other hand, at four in the morning, it's light as anything. So us girls walked off together and talked for a bit, and when we came back, we found the green tent unravelled and the cream tent bulging and giggling. I went to say 'what happened here, guys?' and opened the tent door, and the cream tent also collapsed around us, and we all got the giggles and then fell asleep. Then I woke up. XD My TCR Norns   SpringRain   6/21/2009 I really wish I'd have more dreams within the peaceful world of Norns...but that rarely ever happens to me. Lol. I have been playing the Sims 2 a lot lately and ended up having a dream where I was inside a giant house with many floors and a very large family. Each member of the family had an entire floor of the house to themselves to look after and use as they wished, although the floors were huge and larger than anyone would need. It had a warm homely feeling and was way taller than any house you can build in the Sims 2. Ha ha! At the very end the dream sort of zoomed out and I got to see the skeleton or 'blueprint' of the house. It was really odd. ^_^ I'm back again after being away a handful of years. 2026 Revamp, Baby!   rainbowcat1   6/21/2009 I dreamt that I had too list three-digit numbers, and just as I couldn't think of anymore I woke up. It was quite strange because I hate math, and I couldn't remember any of the number when I woke up, even though I was quite sure they were real numbers. (Ehhh?!) They were so young that they were as small as my little finger and they had no fur, just all pink! I was taking them all away somewhere safe so I could look after them, because the pet shop wasn't taking care of them properly. It made me really sad. I have no idea what brought this on...except maybe that I love animals? No idea...Lol. I painted the nails on my left hand red (I needed red nails for the job), but the red wouldn't stay on my index finger, middle finger or thumb.
