This world was an experiment to see how many food agents I could add to a world and have it both look nice, and not lag my computer to death. I'm happy to say this world doesn't lag, besides the weather generator which lags a lot anyway. The Norns in it are random Norns from CCaves and TCR, though there are a few of my own Norns running around. It's not a straight up wolfling run, and I'll be exporting Norns that don't pass the IQ test by the time their adolescents. I also found out that the Freedom room doesn't have heat and light emitters, which means that grass can't grow there normally. I did manage to add them in my game though. |

... Except shortly after the picture was taken, he went back to being angry and violent. It's basically a Sentinel Norn, except it looks fancy, has a few receptors that make it always pay attention to nearby Grendels or Ettins, and can start or stop walking around on its own if the hand says Yes or No respectively (yay, Gaits). In short, it's the last thing you'd want to see roaming around the world. |

This is Nev's latest Grendel head sprite, seeing how it looks in-game. It's not anchored correctly yet, due to its massive frill size, so I'm still working on the ATT files to get it right.  |

Here are my two lovely Norns from SERU. They are really cute, and look very awesome too! The chemical graph gadget is there to check Jealous Grandmother's Life chemical, (so I can inject her with more so that she doesn't age too fast, since she is a fast-ager), and the offline portal is "connected" to the medical bay on the bridge. |

These ones I call the Spearmint Norns. I think coldness ups the recovery rate of their bones a little, and they don't get randomly hungry by pushing machinery. It started by just tinting a Bengal des Nieges, but eventually I threw it into a splicer with a Treehugger-based Norn and, well, I liked it. So I made an edit of a CFE genome with more or less its appearance. >w< The one on the right is an older Genetics Kit export that didn't quite have most of the tweaks. Something in the pigment genes made it flip out when he hit adolescence, and got rid of his tinting. But, you know, he doesn't look too bad... |

Shee News: "Self-Defense System installed in the Norn Meso" by Dorothea Bruin. Repeated cases of item theft conducted by Ettins as well as several assaults on local Norns, mostly conducted by Grendels, have been witnessed and reported to the Sheean Ministry of Defense (SMD). The violent Grendels involved in the three incidents were banned into a remote area of the ship, the Grendel outpost. After several rounds of discussion, the SMD has ordered and installed four automated turret systems which fire mud projectiles at any trespassing creatures. Suggestions made by the Toxic Norn Alliance, which foresaw the purchase of nuclear weapon agents in order to "turn the ship into a toxic wasteland", were fortunately turned down. These mud projectiles have successfully averted further trespasses by both Ettins and Grendels so far. The SMD also points out that there have been no casualties so far. Other reports suggest that the Grendels sought retaliation after being provoked by two Hardman norns. I will definitely look further into this matter and investigate the true backgrounds. I was getting tired of DS' egg sprites, and realized that the C1 eggs were still in DS. So I replaced some eggs with the C1 eggs. Then I wanted a full set of C1 eggs, so I raided Creatures Village for its egg sprites. They only had one sprite for each egg, so I based the new CV eggs on the C1 eggs to make them look the same. I was a few eggs short, so I made a few new ones. Also Balmora, because she just so happened to be there. |

Messing with Slaterbait's Infinity Ettin genome for some reason, I ended up making some colorful Norns that can swim with the Swimmeragent when they smell water. They're all named after fruits (even though I didn't know what I was doing with the pigment bleed gene). They should be nice to have around... |

In response to a recent bibble by evolnemesis, I decided to see just what the effects were of that misplaced testosterone emitter. As it turns out, it does indeed produce H4C stress, meaning male norns (and only norns; grendels and ettins lack the receptor by default) have a higher level of it by default. However, provided they're well fed, the amount shown in this picture is as high as it ever gets, and as you can tell by the graph on the far right it's just not high enough to have a negative impact overall (H4C stress on its own is harmless; it's just a flag for high H4C to start producing proper stress). A bad, unfinished gene that's better off getting axed? Yes. Male norns are needlessly more prone to hunger-related stress than other creatures. But on the whole it doesn't have that great of an effect on their overall quality of life. |
