 | This world was an experiment to see how many food agents I could add to a world and have it both look nice, and not lag my computer to death. I'm happy to say this world doesn't lag, besides the weather generator which lags a lot anyway. The Norns in it are random Norns from CCaves and TCR, though there are a few of my own Norns running around. It's not a straight up wolfling run, and I'll be exporting Norns that don't pass the IQ test by the time their adolescents.
I also found out that the Freedom room doesn't have heat and light emitters, which means that grass can't grow there normally. I did manage to add them in my game though. |

There's an easier shorter code too
Use Ctrl+Shift+C
Type in "targ hots emit x y" and it will make anything below your "hand" into an emitter of the smell of your choice.
x is one of the ids from the ca list.
y is how strong you want the smell to be from 0 to 1
eg. To prevent a norn from leaving the meta room during pregnancy. Having a few emitters set to 15 1 (Norn Home Smell) will make her less likely to leave the room. This prevent homesickness too!
But please note that smells only travel horizontally across the room. Meaning that if you set an emitter in the sky, only the left and right of that particular "room areas" in the sky is effected. (Use the Room Changer agents to test them out )
P/S: Putting Food smells near doorways is useful to "lure" your creatures to do more exploring of the world too.

Oh so that's how that particular CAOS command works, wish the tutorial elaborated on that.

I used the Caos tool, the emitter code from here as well as the ca list here. If you press shift + control + x then you get the coordinate for where the Hand is currently pointing at. I used that to decide where the emitters went.

What did you use to add the emitters?

So pretty, nice combination of agents... Those norns seem to like it too.
