Creatchi Update
Santa has brought an early present for all those well-behaved Creatchis and their owners.
There is now a much higher chance of finding items when posting comments and bibbles, and items that previously couldn't be found are now a possibility.
Let us know here if you find something.

I've gone ahead and adopted a female Grendelchi. If anyone is wondering what kind of Creatchi to adopt next, I'd really appreciate having a mate for her. |

Orchin could use a mate. Apart from him, though, it seems like all the current creatchis are set.
I am a bit worried about the nornchis, though; once again there's only one high generation nornchi remaining who can still breed. There isn't a whole lot that can be done about it right now beyond hoping said nornchi breeds, though.

Woo, double post. But I have a fairly big update here.
I just spent the last couple minutes working on a spreadsheet listing all living creatchis and their marriage status.
View it here!
Legend:
*Bold: Single Creatchi/Creatchi whose chosen mate has a low chance of being able to breed
*Strike: Creatchi has low chances of getting to breed (e.g. is close to death or only a few days away from becoming senile)
*Red: High-generation Creatchis.
If you're in the market for a new creatchi, this'll probably be of some use to you! In the current time, we're in need of male grendelchis - Rascii's Wonsugi in particular could really use a mate.

Thats a cool spreadsheet. Just one question how high is high generation? |

For the purposes of the chart, high generation is generation 4 and above (e.g. when creatchis start getting stripes).
The chart's been updated again, by the way. At last report, the creatchis who still need mates are:
*cptmashek's Applekiss
*Ghosthande's The Question
*ylukyun's Cactus Bloom
*Rascii's Wonsugi
Basically, we could use two male grendelchis, one male ettinchi, and one female nornchi.
I am happy to report that there are currently no creatchis at high risk of not breeding.

I think it would be nice if the list gets sorted into type of creatchi and then gender as well |

You can sort by gender and species if you right click on the top of the colum and click sort a -> z. |

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to allow sorting by type, gender, or any of the other options. Doing what OneDay suggested only works on whole rows/columns, which takes the title bars into account, and selecting the stuff beneath the title bars only alphabetizes that row/column, which isn't helpful.
In other news, we only need one more male grendelchi, but now we also need an additional male ettinchi to pair with Malkin's new female.

Could also use a male nornchi, if anyone wants to help provide a mate for this generation 32 baby. |

The list has been updated.
I've also put the link in my signature just so there's a permanent place to keep it.

We still desperately need male grendelchis. There's a bunch of living females and no males to pair them with.

Don't forget to sell all your unused items back to the store before your Creatchi dies. Items don't rollover but coinchi are forever.

There are twice as many female Nornchis as males. Most are first generation, though, so it's no great tragedy if they don't get to breed. Still, it would be nice to balance things out. |

As a matter of fact, we do. Granted, out of the three single females we have only Spearmint has a shot at mating; Applekiss and Rouge are at the point where they'll get old before their potential mate becomes fertile.
While I'm here, Cypress is going to die in a few hours. I'm not certain what I'm going to adopt once she goes, however.

Just a note: If you decide to discuss a Creatchi pairing in private, do let me know so I can adjust the Creatchi Sheet accordingly.
I'm pretty much going off what I see in comments as far as betrothed creatchis go, so there's a good chance I might list a betrothed Creatchi as "single" if there's nothing started publicly about their wedded status. This, in turn, can throw some people off if a "single" Creatchi happens to be betrothed after all.

I've updated the Sheet again. I've added an "Age" column, though this is mostly for my own benefit; I've left dead creatchis on there for longer than they needed to be and decided that being reminded of which ones are senile would help remind me to check on them frequently.

They all seem to be pretty evenly paired up at the minute? I might hang on for a bit to raise another creatchi... |

I'm looking to adopt, now that I'm starting to get the hang of my schedule.
I'm most interested in an arranged creatchi marriage. Would anyone be interested in adopting a mate for this little lady?

I'd be happy to - are we in need of hatching high-gen male grendelchis, or would a gen1 do? |

Would anyone be willing to adopt a first-gen male grendelchi to pair with one of these two females?
I'd like to adopt one of them, but at the moment the only available mates are also high-gens, and that's not ideal for reasons I stated earlier on:
...I'd like to point out that first gens are actually pretty vital in keeping bloodlines going. Inbreeding doesn't have any biological consequences for creatchis (or actual creatures for that matter; aren't haploid genetics great?), but it does mean that the more related creatchis that marry each other the narrower the bloodline gets and the more likely it is that it'll come crashing down in the future. If one brings in first gens, the family tree will spread out and make the bloodline a bit sturdier overall. This goes for any creatchi species, not just the grendelchis.

Sure, I'd be willing to if the offer still stands. 1st gens seem to have become my thing.
