Welcome to Creatures Caves, you two! Huh. I always figured they all just had super efficient digestive systems so there was no peeing/pooping in Creatures. It's difficult enough trying to keep many of them alive as it is especially in later games lol ...and then I regret posting that two seconds later. |

Hi! I started playing Creatures when I was about 7, starting with C1, went all the way to C3DS and was obsessed on and off since then. I really credit it with my interest in genetics and biochemistry. I did something with the biochem later in life, but it also taught me everything I knew about computers...which is still not a lot. I'd love to come back to the community and contribute for C1 and C2, which I find handle-able, no pun intended. I probably first fell in love with the graphics and I'll be starting there. Hopefully I'll figure my way out into full worlds and COBs. Someone help me, I've bitten off way more than I can chew. |

A little late to the whole urination thing, but I have made a cos file for that stuff, as well as bleeding (for twb creatures) and visible indicators for hotness and coldness. (Currently unreleased here, have posted in the discords like once or twice?) Haven't released it, but the urination I just condensed into pooping (like birds I guess?) since it's controlled by the concentration of pistle and urea in a creature's system. You know...wait...nevermind... wait...no...umm...maybe later... |

I am not all that new. I was in the creatures community a long time ago. probably close to 20 years ago. I joined around 2002 about the same time as i created my first website chatbotfriends. AI and Alife fascinated me. Creatures is one of the most longest running computer games out there. IT combined Alife with AI (neural networks) it is still a fascinating game. |

Hello everyone! Nice to see a community of the game. Has to play C1 while was a kid, in my 14-15s. Never played C2/C3/DS though unfortunately so I am just an amateur ) But still remember the game and sure it made its impact on me. From AI perspective, it was fascinating, and I still into all AI-related stuff. From nurturing perspective, lol, it made me a teacher I think. So what's going on after so many years and where to start exploring? Nice day to all of you! |

Good Morning! I wouldn't consider myself a new user... I've been playing C1 since 1998. I was given a burnt version of the game from a neighbour after my family purchased our first computer. I was hooked from the start. My first norn was a female banana norn I named Eve and to this day I have a soft spot for banana norns. I did try to play C2 once. It lasted all of five minutes and I went back to C1. I haven't played the game since around 2016 when I lost over 10 generations of norns... (never give your boyfriend your password to your computer lol) so I was super excited to get back into the game this past Christmas and even more excited to see that the community still exists and that all the downloads are still available. Nice to meet everyone! I've been visiting everyone's websites for years so your names are familiar but it's nice to officially say HI!!!! |

It's about time I stopped skulking and joined the community. I still can't believe how popular the game is. It's so cool to see. I just got my 3-year-old obsessed with checking on the babies (norns) with me on the weekends. I'm working on my third generation at the moment. I was hoping to have some interesting red-coloured ones to post for Valentine's Day, but it might be a while before they are ready. I'm trying to breed them to be a certain shade of red and have a bit more of an aggressive nature, as well as be better breeders, so they will be better in wolfling runs against grendals. We'll see how it goes. And no, I haven't figured out how to use the genetics kit yet. The last attempt I made with it, I was seven or eight, and I don't know if the millennium had happened yet. I'm just trying it with selective breeding. More challenging I guess but still fun. It's nice to be here anyway. |

Hello, everyone! Not sure how active I'll be here- I'm a pretty shy critter- but I'm new to the Creatures series! I suppose Hi. I am a lurker who has recently stumbled upon the Creatures Series from a video and is now invested into this Life Simulation game. I hope to see more from the Game as a new player and that more potential fans get to discover the series as I have. |

im incredibly new to the scene, im not even fully sure how to play yet, how or the game fully works. Im here because I recently learned about the game, and the creator, and the work and the logic that goes into the game, especially for the times really impresses me and I want to enjoy the work. I have purchased C1 and C2 on steam and use C2 because google said it was more highly regarded. Am I wrong? I dont know. That's why im here  also really, how do i add downloded creatures to the game? i cant find the the exp file goes or whatever. |

Probably check the wiki and the Guide I use for installing downloads in the Creature Docking Station guides. Im not sure if its any different but from what I can see they share the similar Genetics, Body Data and Images folders so maybe it works the same. So long as the downloads are for the proper version of the game. |
