No problem.  --- I've run into a snag and I'm not sure how to fix it. The desert and the elevators around the desert are proving to be... uh. Troublesome for creature navigation. I'm not sure how to fix this. The specific problem is that Norns sort of mill about the desert plants in the desert and the creatures just march around the lift to the west of the incubation area, no matter what level it's on. I can ask them to push and pull it and it works, but it's like they don't know where to go. Elevines don't fix this problem either. I don't know what's causing this problem now but it seems like it was less prevalent in previous tests. :/ I'm worried this is going to be the most boring run ever if creatures just sort of mill about elevators and cacti. I feel like I need to do a full write-up on the problems I'm having with C2toDS after this. I don't really have time to set up a new world for the run if I want it to air tomorrow. I guess the simplest solution could be to just change the starting area. I'm thinking the lush, green area next to the water wheel. Are there any objections to this or do you have another solution? I've seen many navigation and ecology problems in C2toDS. It's just still in beta. The area next to the water wheel seemed ok, though they WILL immediately drown themselves in the ponds if you don't block them off. |

I've already blocked those off, thankfully. They were causing other issues, mostly to do with getting stuck clipping the floor.
