Check one of my prior posts. Someone (not me... I can't post links to websites) posted a link there. When I followed the link, it spoke a clear message: someone is working on C4  !Blueberry Entertainment has a love for the Creatures seiries... apparently! They're the ones to make Creatures 4: The Adventures of the Lone Shee (they've been given permission by Gameware) !There's hope yet!  Hawksight  |

Keeping the faith for a C4 is good and all, but it's also pretty unrealistic. As I said in another thread on this topic, Blueberry Entertainment probably doesn't exist and they are not making any game. Such a large amount of secrecy for a CC project has almost always been a sign that nothing is in fact happening. Examples of this in the past: Creatures Orbis (or Creatures Community Edition, which I always thought was a stupid name considering how much of the community was actually allowed to participate), The Canopy (which was recently revealed not to be under active development as was rumored), and the Ancient Forest (Project Delphi, anyone?) Well, I've suggested something like this before, and generally it was shunned  however, this prospect may just become a reality for this site in the future...But lets think about happier things! One day I was trying to eat this banana, and I tripped on the floor! Ouchies! Well, Mr. Diplodicus came to help me put on my bandaid, and so then I... Sorry. Its just thinking about this makes me sad. And you wouldn't like me sad. When I'm sad, I start to whine. and when I whine, I start to cry. And then I scream. No, you deffinately don't want to be around. So, thats my opinion. I don't think that Rascii will actually close the site (although I would be happy to donate some... say... those five dollars that I've been saving up if it comes to that). Theres too many people who believe in this site; they have friends here, social lives here, and I think Rascii knows it (I don't mean to put any pressure on you, Rascii! Sorry if I am).  |

Dudes! You just don't get it - money is not the problem here. Its the dead community that's disheartening. The forums are full of posts about nothing - about other games and junk. That's what's disheartening. When was there any exciting news? When were there many new downloads last? When did people actually play? its not a matter of shunning, you're just missing the point! There's just no inspiration to keep the site much anymore. No - there aren't too many people who believe in the site - there are not enough! And those few who are here really don't do anything besides say "noooo don't take it down." But there is *nothing* going on. I don't want him to take the site down either, i've been here for six years, i've watched this site evolve so much... but i can't find it in my mind to blame Rasc if he does kill it. Plenty of other amazing creatures sites died for less than this. Yes, I'm the forum ... Any questions?Rascii: You make my life difficult, angel. |

I'd do abolutely anything to keep the Creatures Community alive and to save this site! I like this website very much (I come practically every half-hour), but angel is right; Nobody can blame Rascii if he shuts down this site when the seiries and the community aren't really alive anymore. Like many other posters have stated, the problem lies in finding a publisher for a game in a seiries that's pretty much dying. I think that if some of us send letters to potential publishers, they'll think "Wow! This game is really popular! We should publish this!" and maybe a C4 will come . We can also donate money to both Gameware and the potential publishers. Gameware may be motivated to make C4 and one of the publishers might be willing to publish it and put it on the market. ...but, even if we all do it, it might not be enough! Spreading the word about Creatures Exodus might attract more Creatures fans (I've spread the word to my friends and now most of them have CE). I think that the more of us performing things like the actions stated above, the better chance of our survival. I'd be willing to do that .Hawksight |

Yeah, advertising on Neopets isn't such a good idea... But get this! I was in a real "I must do something to help Creatures" mood a few weeks ago and I posted up posters around the neighborhood advertising C3 and CE! Literally everywhere! Anyway, over the next week or two, boxes were coming to a lot of their houses (from Gameware) that looked like they had a special artificial life experiment in them... I was just rather desperate that day, so I used poster print and some internet pictures (plus a description and where to get it from Gameware and such) and soon people were ordering off of the Creatures Mall. But, before anyone starts dancing, I must point out that there were still quite a few homes that didn't get any such boxes. Is this a sign or something? Should we advertise in our neighborhoods about C3 and CE? It worked wonders in mine... some of my neighborhood friends won't hang out with me because they're too busy breeding Norns, Grendels, and Ettins. Hawksight |

I have told a few friends about DS, too. However, I don't know if they downloaded it yet... I've also had an idea on how to advertise this site. Whenever I send a DS Creature through the Warp, I have been putting in the Creatures' description www.creaturescaves.com. It's not much, but do you think that could help? |

Like Angel said, there is little motivation to keep the site running when interest in the game and game activity has nose dived. The more people interested in creatures (and the more people contributing to creatures related discussion on here) the better, so I'm glad you've swayed some people HS I could give it a go, but the people in my neighbourhood favour guns to computers. |

Maybe it's just me, but I have noticed the site and forums being a lot busier lately. Three to five new topics are being posted everyday - the forums are a hive of activity. Ontop of that more content is being submitted, and newbies, who have joined in the past few days - some have actually begun joining in and posting. Unlike A2K, which is stone cold dead at the moment - the place is like a ghost town. |
