General Forum Fav Norn Breed And Crossbreed    norndara   7/21/2013 Hi everyone! Here you can post your favorite official(I would say all breeds, but there's so many that I'd rather keep to official) norn breeds(and perhaps crossbreeds if you want)for each game. I'll start. C1: My fav are the Ron Norns. Yes you read that right. I admit I like them a lot more than most, mainly because of their goofy smiles and heartbreaking frowns.(I sometimes feel that I just kicked a puppy when I see those frowns) C2: My fav are the Pixie Norns. I love that mischievous look the females have and the cute innocent look the males have. C3: My fav are the Astro Norns. The females are just OMG beautiful, and the males are very cute with their adorable moon patterns. My fav crossbreed is Harlequin/Astro. I've not tried harlequin/astros - do you have any photos of them? My TCR Norns   Kappsune   7/21/2013 My favorite breed is a tie between Magmas and Fallows, so obviously mixing them together also makes my favorite crossbreed. When you get that adorable antlered head and the cute spotted body mixed with the firey and almost glowing colors of a magma, you have a very special Norn. Edit: I forgot to mention, my favorite C1 breed is the Forest Norn. It's colors are amazing and it's genome is so unique.   NimhsLab   7/21/2013 I'm not sure if I should say I "like" Siamese norns, per-say, because they're my favorite lab-rats/test-subjects for genetics. I do like Zebras, though. Mix them with civets and you get a very well-coordinated norn. (I once had a first-gen zebra live 13 hours, if I remember correctly.) [chirping and clicking] Clicks for a winter god! >   Sanely Insane RisenAngel Manager     7/21/2013 I don't have a particular favorite among the C1 and C2 official breeds as I rarely play those games (though, going by design alone, I am fond of the White Haired Pixie Norns and the Emerald Norns). My favorite of the C3/DS official breeds (not counting the Banshee Grendels, as those obviously aren't norns) are the Hardman Norns. Their appearance combined with their genetics makes them very appealing to me. They do tend to not handle IQ tests very well (they like to express themselves to the point where they starve), but that doesn't drag them down very much for me. After the Hardmen, I've have to say either the Toxics, the ChiChis, or the Bengal Norns. The Toxics have a neat reptilian appearance coupled with a unique genome, while the Bengals have a natural-looking appearance that appeals to me. The ChiChi Norns...I don't know why I like them as much as I do, honestly. I just plain do. As for crossbreeds, I'd have to say that my favorite norn appearance is Bruin head + body, Bengal arms + legs, and a Civet tail (see the norn in my avatar). The combination just looks so natural. For that matter, Bruin + Bengal crossbreeds always look nice to me. ~ The Realm ~ Risen Angel's Creatures Blog   Sixty Third Karias   7/21/2013 Aww man really? I replied to this seconds after the first reply about locking it, then deleted my reply. Now I'm gonna retype it C1 - White-haired pixies. Soooo cute, especially the boys. C2 - Pixies. C3/DS - A hard decision, but probably Astro followed by Bengal and Harlequin or Zebra. I love 'em but usually with any of the breeds named for C3/DS, I could care less for the females except Zebra females. I really am a huge fan of various C2 third party breeds though. Spike, Mer, Kai, Scorpio, Daffodil, Midsummer, Dewa, etc. Agreed on the harlequin crossbreeding - They make great crossbreds. -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate!   Malkin Manager     7/21/2013 Thanks, Karias! My TCR Norns   Sixty Third Karias   7/21/2013 They look pretty similar to the males, whereas I really just don't like the looks of Harlequin females, I don't know, they look like they don't have the biggest brain nor do they have the amazing color of the males. Astro females, don't like the hair much with their color which isn't as showy as the males to me. Bengal females, again, it's that hair I guess I'm just not a short curly weird haired-norn fan? Plus I like norns either showy/colorful or solid colored. If one gender is more colorful to me than the other, plus its hairdo is more attractive to me, well. . . The other gender just loses out. Pixies, Desert norns, Emerald norns, etc - The type that are pretty similar I don't mind females with at all. And some, like C1 horse norns, santa norns, and PMN norns have very attractive yet "different" females. -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate!   Peppery One Papriko   7/21/2013 They do not suit genetically, but optically do Toxic Norns, Banshee Grendels and Draconian Norns suit together awesomely. With C2 my favorites would have to be Golden Desert Norns, and the regular Desert Norns. Though, Frog Norns have a special place in my heart too, my first baby in C2 was a baby Frog Norn. <3 With C3/DS I don't actually feel all that much love for any of them, but the Astros are probably my favorite, and maybe the Bondi Norns. Really my favorite depends on which breed I'm playing with at the time. My favorite crossbreeds would have to be Zebra and Bruin mixes, something about them just looks nice. My favorite hybrid would have to be Treehugger Bondis. c: Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Nudgie   7/21/2013 C1: It'd have to be Purple Mountain Norns as my fav purebreed, with WHPixie coming a close second. The only reason the Pixie lose out is because I don't like their feet. Crossbreed, Anything with a Santa body. C2: Pixies, too cute! xD Don't have a favourite crossbreed, they all seem to mingle pretty well. C3/DS: Bengals. C2: I find the Pixies adorable. Once again, I'm not sure about crossbreeds. C3/DS: Toxic Norns, although sadly I no longer have the Toxic Norn pack. A female brown mouse norn was my first norn, but I like the white haired pixie norns best. My favourite crossbreeds would have to be something like magma or bruin with civet legs or arms. I love the whole mostly plain/monotone thing with spotty limbs. It looks so darn cute! C1: I loved crossing the little brown mouse norns with the grendels and seeing how they turned out. C2: judging from my many folders of saved Frog norn crosses, I'm going to have to say they were my favorite. I loved the look of the C2 norns! C3/DS; probably the hardman norns are my favorite official breed, followed closely by the toxics and banshee grendels. I love the tufty white hair, the curl that the females have is adorable, and they look SO happy when they smile. In C2, I think my favorite is the Emerald norns, because I love the shade of green they have. As for C3, I do like the colors of the Astro norns, but I also like the pattern of the Bengal norns (it also helps that I like tigers and other big cats), so I can't really decide.
