Creatures Online: Build for Playtest! Malkin | 12/4/2013 | 1 | In this week's Creatures Online update, the team are working on a new build of the game to send to a dedicated lab for two days' worth of playtesting. The team are focusing on ergonomics, gameplay, stability and polish to get some feedback on what they have changed in the last few weeks - if it turns out positive, the team will move on to polishing the splicing and breed parts of the game.
The same long tasks of bug fixing and polishing have been worked on, improving some visuals and knocking some items off the bug list.
The thought bubble feature is being further refined - now, when pressed, they display the category icon and the verb the Norn has performed on it. The user can the press the reward or punish buttons accordingly. We can also tickle or slap the norns at any time by zooming in.

The article didn't say - why not ask them on the forum? At a guess, it might be for iPhones, because they've said in the past that's where they're prioritising.

I think it's being sent to a lab - like, a team of professional playtesters.

But wait, about the playtesters, can they be anyone or people selected by the CO team?
