People who are getting Exodus from GOG - Two ways of disabling the login is getting the login disabler here from Creatures Caves or getting C1toDS - It has a built-in login disabler.

If you don't want to check the GoG forums for the DS offline patch, you can also find it here.
Geeze, spykkie don't twist my arm about saving 5 bucks on a game I've wanted for months. GEEZE. Now I have to go buy Evoland. XD

*small voice* I know it's not creatures related but I would like to recommend Evoland which is also in the big sale right now:
Evoland
It's really interesting history and allows you to relive adventure gaming from it's start to recent years in a matter of hours.
EDIT: If you like time managing games, don't miss out on Theme hospital and dungeon keeper 2!

Their version of DS asks you to log in, but helpful people in the gog.com forums have made posts about an agent to bypass it (and the instructions to use it).
To my understanding, the agent wasn't made by the game makers so legally they can't include it in the installation, but it is still easily available online.

I'm curious - does the GOG version of Creatures Exodus still require you to register a DS world online before you can play it? Because if it does, that might be kind of problematic for new players, seeing as the server is down (for good?) and you need third party mods to disable the registration...

Awesome news! I've been waiting for this for awhile, and I knew it would happen one of these days. Going to stock up on a few codes I plan on giving out at some point!

Way too awesome! I really need to get Exodus as my C3 CD has been unable to install properly for years and years, and - I miss C3. I should get the Albian years too for the heck of it

I have Creatures Adventures (well, used to, the CD got scratched and it won't install now :C) and it's actually pretty fun! I used to be obsessed with making cake, hahah.
It was difficult to control, though, because the Norn had to be onscreen. I managed to find a way that would allow the Norn to leave the room while I stayed, but it was hard to get it to do that and the controls were a bit clunky.
