 | Taken at 9:08 pm. We hit 25 online users a couple of minutes earlier, (with Yozi) then dropped back down to 24 before going up again. We ought to do this more often!! |
 | I added random tints to Laura and Mea's Candy Pumpkins, which I downloaded for Halloween. Please let me know if you like the colours; I want to try out the same combos on other agents. Yes, I've decided to decorate. The traditional colours can get boring after a few world creations! |
 | I have become a master decorator.
Playing with TINT taught me to do things like change the color of that grave. I included the values so you can add that color decoration to your Grendel Jungle as well.
The grave comes from (I think) the C2toDS Halloween Pack by Moe and Liam. Find more agents here! |
 | Halloween's going to be great this year. |
 | She's cute but deadly. Herb, for genetic reasons, was born with a Grendel tail, even though her parents were Bruin Norns. Her gait is unusual, in the sense that she doesn't crawl like most baby creatures do. This is because some of the earlier generations in her family were of the Gaius breed. Her colouring seems green like plants or herbs, which is what sparked the idea of her name. |
 | Oops! Sorry, Mr. Ettin... Gorged yourself to sleep there...
The Candy Pumpkins are smaller in the final release! |
 | I've been running a very loose Feral Run where I still interact with the Norns and bring them food. I haven't taught them anything though, and they have to learn everything themselves. It's gone surprisingly well, besides for the occasional plague or gender imbalance. One of the more curious Norns was old Course here. He stayed in this spot for hours, just resting or sleeping. He didn't go hungry though, either from the ugly tomatoes there or the occasional cheese. He was safely exported after 10 hours.
(The title was going to be "The Curious Case of the Catatonic Course" but that didn't fit). |
 | There I was, just innocently typing random CAOS commands, when this strange error appeared and my game crashed. I wonder what it means! |
 | So after a bit of work I managed to get the sprite properly working. Also, all of my Norns don't like Juerg very much, I wonder why. |
 | Typically what happens when my cosfiles get a little *too* ambitious. ![[nskull] [nskull]](/images/smilies/emot_skull.gif)
|
 | This creepy Grendel may or may not have strange powers. |
 | A creation I made using a combination of the Freedom Project metaroom, the Garden box and a few agents, either injected or sneakily added into the map using the CAOS Tool.
It doesn't work as well as it appears to though. Most of the time the Norns just hang out on one floor and never use the Elevines. |
 | I've turned a part of my pet Creature world, which is actually an old test world, into a silver Desert Norn farm. I've always liked the Albian Grey Norns from C2, so now I decided to breed some from old adoptions of mine. As is always the case in my main DS world, Balmora is there. Except now she's obsessed with Norns and not toys or gadgets. |
 | Okay, this is the problem I've been experiencing in my Win 2000 pro VM. Do any of you know what causes the hand to do this? When I run it over things they glitch for a second and then revert to normal. Other than this minor glitching the game seems to run, but this is gonna make it annoying to play if it freezes things I drag it over for a few seconds. Though, I am not aware if there are other glitches attached to this one.
This is the GOG.com version of C2 in the Albian Years collection. I had to run it in a VM due to serious glitching on my regular Win 8.1 computer.
C1 is not effected at all and runs very well. C2 is displaying this awkward glitch that is making it really annoying to play. If anyone has seen or knows how to fix/avoid this glitch, do tell me. I would like to resume designing Cheri Norns for C2.
Note, as mentioned before, this is Windows 2000 in the VM. It runs in 16 colors. But no 16 high bit is available. Could that be what's causing this? I have no idea. Any tips? I'm really stuck here. |
 | I've tried my hand at creating a seasonal run using Grendel Man's Chione, and I have to say it's not going very well. I had a lot of fun Garden Boxing it up and even used the Freedom project's masonry tool to fill it in, but they don't operate the Elevines well to get to places they need to go, even after I made CA links. Bah, oh well, it looks pretty cool, at least!
Just ignore all the Norns starving off screen on TOP of the Elevine that takes them where they need to go. -cries- |
