 | I've been running a very loose Feral Run where I still interact with the Norns and bring them food. I haven't taught them anything though, and they have to learn everything themselves. It's gone surprisingly well, besides for the occasional plague or gender imbalance. One of the more curious Norns was old Course here. He stayed in this spot for hours, just resting or sleeping. He didn't go hungry though, either from the ugly tomatoes there or the occasional cheese. He was safely exported after 10 hours.
(The title was going to be "The Curious Case of the Catatonic Course" but that didn't fit). |

Espeon, have you tried the Perfecio Norns? They're fairly good at taking care of themselves.

I don't carry out wolfling runs that often, and when I do I prefer to use genetically modified Norns instead of the default genomes.

Shoving food in their faces was always tedious for me, but when I'm that involved, it stops feeling like a wolfling run. XD
Still, all this talk about the older games is making me want to pick them up again. Maybe I'll start a new blog world after the CCSF (and after I've had a chance to catch my breath, of course).

My secret for C1 is cheese vendors and wiggling cheese in their face. If they ignore me or start dancing with the cheese, I move on to the next Norn. I have more trouble with sickness then I do with eating. The last generation had 6 Norns that were only 30 or so minutes away from being exported and a plague wipes out all but two of them.

That's my experience with it, Doringo. The darn things just don't want to stay alive.

I can't feral or wolfing in either c1 or c2, they just starve themselves.
