Not to burst the bubble, but did anyone read the readme? Because edash asked in it that the files not be given out to anyone other than those specifically given canopy to alpha test. In light of the explosive copyright/owner's wishes topic started by Ashkitty, I thought this might be worth mentioning. I would love to try the file, but only if edash is okay with it being available to the general public.
I really don't want the thread to blow up and become ugly or anything, I just wanted to make sure that people realized what the readme said.

edash has vanished off the face of the Internet, as far as I'm aware, and Moe doesn't seem to mind the release.

Okay, just wanted to be sure before I used it. In that case, yay! I can't wait to try out the new metaroom!

I think I might use this in my new Creatures game.
Edash's Greek Pot is missing a file... Does anyone have a complete version?

Malkin is correct, I don’t mind, and I doubt edash does either (which btw, he’s still on the internet, just no-where near the CC and not communicating with anyone from it, to my knowledge).
The only reason the readme says what it does, is because the private beta was the last known stable release candidate. I am glad to see someone posted it as I didn't have the nerve. Enjoy everyone! |

probably not, because it's been an abandoned project for over a year and I'm sure whoever was supposed to write the AH or even anyone who knew what to put in the AH is long gone |

The Canopy is edash's baby. If it wasn't in the beta, Moe probably doesn't have any notes from edash on what the catalogue was meant to be.

Wow, I am happy this released, but I am kinda sad.
If it's true about Edash completely disappearing off of the face of the internet, then it could mean.........
Edash is dead....
Or worse.
I am sorry if my theory depresses anyone, but I am thinking it is possible, but unlikely.

Umm, look up about five posts... Moe just said last month,
Moe wrote: which btw, he’s still on the internet, just no-where near the CC and not communicating with anyone from it, to my knowledge
So he is alive, at least according to Moe. He's just not here exactly.

Well, that's good to know. Though he still disappeared off the face of the CC, which is fairly sad.

He may decide to come back for his sanity. Its rather sticky, but somewhat necessary to survival outside of the CC.

Thanks Ghost hande for the reassuring info, I didn't read all the posts, so I was wondering about that.
Maybe Edash is in college, or something along those lines? Also maybe Edash's current job is very difficult, or it's new, or maybe it's very time consuming.
Malkin, speaking of the elastic string, well, that's kinda how I got back here.
The way the elastic string works, is very complicated. It is, an etherial, meaning non-touchable, or physical, or feelable, Kinda like a ghost, or air/molecules. It's also transparent, or trans-whatever they call it when it isn't transparent or Octuse, or whatever they call it when it is solid.
(Just checked wikipedia, the opposite of Transparent is opaque)
The elastic string is also, non-transparent, non-opaque, and non-translucent. It's more non visible. Unlike unvisible thinks, it will not become visible in any way if you try to splash it with paint, powder, or other things.
The string exists on all internet sites, and exists with most anything. It is usually known as what connects someone to something. It could be considered to be somewhat like chaos and or string theory, or maybe even the dominoe effect.
It locks on and connects to a person whenever they either visit a site or become a member of something. That is the usual internet elastic string. It also connects to one when they have visited it enough to have memorized it, or have a large enough connection to something.
The elastic string, like a dominoe effect, combo, or chain link type thing. If someone becomes innactive on a site they are a member on, or other situations, the elastic string can be blamed for them becoming active once again.
EX: I was once an active member here. I kinda got bored, or maybe I got more focused on school or another internet site, I can't remember. I mostly forgot all about CC. One day, something reminded me of my memories of CC. Like, I had found my DS file. And I became active again. The elastic string, is a kind of memory string. It connects and holds together memories associated with other memories, it can bring up previous memories.
I have become active and innactive at various times on CC. Recently, my little sister borrowed my CD case, and installed C3 on her new computer. I saw her playing it, and remembered CC. So, I downloaded DS on this computer, and now I became active again.
That is kinda how the elastic string works. Associations of past memories, connecting memories together, more of long line of chains linked together, or a thread woven into the fabrics of memories.
It is kinda likely that Edash will eventually become active here again, possibly in a few months-to a few years.
It's kinda confusing, but it can make sense. Sorry for such a long post, I kinda take a long time to explain things. I also may make a long explanation for something that doesn't really need such a long explanation.
EDIT: Then again, Malkin might just be joking. Malkin could have actually meant Elastic Muffin

Yes, edash is to my knowledge very much alive. Unless someone has stolen his e-mails, body, and guitar skills, and is running amuck with them, edash is off busily perusing his other, more lucrative, interests. Best of luck to him! |

Wow.
I just FINALLY looked at the link... that is one gorgeous room! I wish my computer had the memory to let me do stuff like that... because you know it is all the computer's fault.
I am seriously going to have to play with this later today.
Thank you Starscream/Gryph/whoever else you might be for posting this for everybody!

So, it's a secret, tiny room, that is just very hard to get into?
Also, I'm guessing the room's entrance is on the right side of the metaroom?
