Really? Only there's been a movement in Australia to remove the Union Jack for at least the last twenty years or so. Partially because we're far less British than we used to be, what what  and partially because we keep on having international incidents with New Zealand over our flags (usually solved by each country's delegates having a good laugh at how silly the host country is, and then exchanging the flags with all proper decorum). I like the Eureka Flag, but it's too hijacked by every cause - where it was originally used to protest against unfair policing of the goldfields and a crippling fee, it's been used in various horrible ways since then.
