Blueberry Entertainment looks like they're planning to make Creatures 4: Adventures of the Lone Shee! If Blueberry Entertainment gets the job done, we won't have to worry about the Creatures Community going down completely for a really long time! There's very little info on the web about this, other than it's being made by Blueberry Entertainment. Even so, C4 would be awesome if it came out. I must give credit to the anonymous person who posted the origional link in the "Keep Creatures Caves Alive" part of the General Forum. Thank you.   |

Is this true? If it is then I shall explode in excitemet. If it' faulse then I'll cry because I've always dreamt of C4 ever since I became a member of the CC. Should there be any deveopments or conformatin that this will go ahead please tell us so I may go all fangirly. Sanity is sticky, and it's uncomfortable when it's come out your ears. Trust me, I found out the hard way. |

Spook, I was trying to be nice about it  And there's still a dwindling possibility. I'd most likely buy a C4 if it ever hit the shelf. But it doesn't feel very likely Back again! Beware! |

I've edited the topic's title - "C4 Being Made!" was very misleading, as it's not an official game being made by Gameware. It's also not a good idea to say things like that when there's so little info available and we don't even know if this project is still in development, or if Blueberry are even going to get the project off the ground. Also if we take a look at the copyright disclaimer: "This domain is reserved concerning the 2D artificial life computer game Creatures 4. It is not associated with Gameware Development or Kutoka Interactive. Creatures is a registered trademark of Gameware Development Ltd. Images Copyright Gameware Development Ltd 2004 and used with permission." --it seems all they have Gameware's approval for is the image of the Hardman Norn. I'm sorry to put a damper on things, but I'm just of the opinion that people need to start thinking logically, and not get so hyped up over a link that holds little evidence that C4 is in development. ![:\](/images/smilies/confused.gif ":\") I'm not saying give up hope on C4, just don't raise yours, and others hopes up until there's some concrete proof. Lisa has even said in this post that there will be no C4 as of yet, so I doubt this is the C4 we're all waiting on the edge of our seats for - however nice that would be. |

Well, the site appears registered. Disclaimers in place, etc. A glimmer of hope, but (as Laura mentions) I'm not going to start dancing until I see some development. After all these years, I'm a bit cynical I suppose. Probably the only reason I won't dismiss it straight out is the fact that after so many years Blizzard are actually doing a StarCraft 2. If it can take that long ... well, who knows? But Blizzard's in better financial shape. I'll put this in a "faintly optimistic" category and see what develops Now, if I start seeing regular updates I might improve my opinion. And yeah, if it's for real & C4 is on the way, I'm game I just want regular evidence. After the C3D stuff way-back one should be forgiven for being a skeptic*ponders* It reminds me a little of the evolution of the Worms games, you know (a little) Back again! Beware! |

This has been bandied about for a long time, and nothing has ever come of it. The site has been sitting there for ages, and nothing has changed. Mysterious edits about this appeared on the Creatures Wiki, dating back to early 2005 and the website was already in place then. We removed the edits due to a lack of credible information, and to this day no one has provided anything more concrete. So, once again, here's where the community is at: If we want new content, we're gonna have to make it ourselves, or we just have to enjoy what we have. There are a few different websites where it looks like different things are happening, but only time will tell what's actually going to happen with these games. In the mean time I'm just going to be optimistic and hope for the best: Gameware have said they want to make a Creatures 3D as soon as they can get a publisher interested. I am quite certain Gameware would not agree to give anyone else permission to produce a '3D' Creatures game whilst they still plan to make their own Creatures 3D/Creatures 5 if/when they can find a suitable publisher. Don AmberCreatures |

How about email gameware and ask if the blueberry thing has any credit? im sure that there won't be much of a concrete answer, but some of you seem to have a lot of daydreaming time on your hands... why not try to do something useful, ay?
