Hi again,
It's SpringRain. ^_^ I have been playing with and breeding my little Cat Norns in Creatures 2 and I'm now up to generation 8 with them. Currently I'm playing with my generation 7 batch of Norns, (gen. 8 are still babies inside eggs, lol), and I had something really interesting happen. One of my female cat Norns fell into the light blue ocean. I thought she was going to drown but when I came and checked up on her again a while later she was quite happily playing on the sea floor without a problem. Bubbles rise but no bad effects happen! So, she's been living underwater for ages now and can also live on land. She's amphibious! And I bred her from a family consisting entirely of pure cat Norns so it must have happened naturally. Yay! I'm making progress, slowly but surely. <3
I'm back after 11 years. Holy dooley! |

Neat! Sometimes we discover mutations in the oddest of ways.

That's so nifty. I've never heard or seen anything like it before. You could submit her to the adoption section if you wanted. |

The thought of an amphibious cat norn makes me laugh. XD It sounds so cool!

Yeah, since aren't cats supposed to have a dislike of water? Haha. |

Ha ha! Yes, they are. ^_^
The strange thing is, she's as happy as a MerNorn! Lol.
I am going to put her up for adoption as soon as I can. I have a copy of her saved onto my removable disk drive but I'm at the library today and I don't know if they would let me upload something to their computer.
I tried to train her to eat well, so she should be okay in that department. I'm using a special food vendor that makes them want to eat better.
(I just realised: I haven't zipped her and I forgot to take a picture. I'll have to upload her when I get home. Her name is Gelia, so keep your eyes peeled!).
*Edit* Okay, I went and uploaded her. I hope I did it right. ^_^ Now she's just 'waiting for approval'. Lol.

Gelia has been approved and is waiting in the adoption section for all to see. Thanks SpringRain. She's a cutie isn't she? |

No problem!
Thank you Laura. I'm glad you like her. I hope she brings happiness to anyone who downloads her. :3
*Note* Gelia passed away today as the final remainder of my generation 7 batch of Cat Norns. Her friends all died of old age. She was 11 hours old and very well behaved right to the end! She made friends with all my other females, who, by chance (meaning they all jumped into the ocean at some point or another and survived quite happily), I discovered are also all amphibious. Unfortunately, my one remaining male is not. Generation 8 are so cute and just waiting to be imported now! ^_^ I named some of them after things and characters I am fond of. <3
