Well, I saw that we didn't have one so I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread which deals with all our pet Creature's medical problems!
I actually do have something I need help with here though: I have a male adult Leopard Norn who is really sick after having a run in with a Grendel. The heartbeat is 'weak' and I've been trying to figure out what potions/injections to give. He has a really high level of something called 'muscle toxin' as well as antigen 0 (but I know how to treat antigens ^_^)

Injecting muscle tissue (chemical 11) should counteract the muscle toxin. I'm not sure if there's a potion for it though, it's been a long time since I've played DS docked or C3 at all.

Thank you! So it will make muscle toxin go away? His partner was just killed by a Grendel so I feel sorry for him.
Okay, I'll import him again and give it a try!
((Btw, I love your Creatures Blog! It's awesome. ))

Muscle toxin destroys muscle tissue, which is used by norns as a source of amino acids, which they can convert into glycogen. Injecting more muscle tissue will provide a reservoir of muscle tissue that the toxin can react with without endangering your norn. I like to use the Warp chamber to monitor muscle tissue levels when a norn is sick with muscle toxin.

Oh okay, that's a good idea. I didn't realise the Warp chamber was so handy.
At the moment I only have C3 installed on this computer but I am using both the medical bay and the Infirmary metaroom to help my Creatures. My Nornie's on his last legs so I hope it works.
*Edit: Aww, I didn't make it in time. ;_; Leor died as soon as I imported him again. Thanks for the help though. Maybe I can save another Norn now that I know.

Is this thread for everybody who has a medical problem? If yes, I have a question: My Toxic norns have almost everything: Cack-In-A-Box, Toxic Trashcan, Toxic Tuba, Toxic Carrots, Toxic Lemons, Toxic Empathic Vendor, Stinking Stump Plants, Macrobacterias and even the whole room Garbage Dump. For any reason is it still healthy, how is that possible???

Yes! It's for anyone who wants some help with medical sorts of problems for their creatures. ^_^ I thought it would be handy to have all that information in one place, then it's easier to find...I think.
Hm, I have never owned the Toxic Norns so I'm not an expert on them but I did read something about them that said toxic and poisonous things (ie bacteria,) make them healthy, while normal things and healthy things (ie vitamin C, antibacterial spray) make them sick. It's because their entire biochemistry works in reverse, or something like that...

Have you tried the agents that come with the Plague Ettins? In particular, the Bubonic Bugle releases bacteria into the atmosphere. Also try Moe's Bacteria Button to show you which areas are most bacteria-laden.
edit to add link to Bacteria Button - very useful in finding out how many bacteria you've got zinging around your world.

Do you mean the link in "Agent Pack of two rather disgusting plants"? I'll see how they work.
The Bacteir Button of Moe is another good idea.

I like the Bubonic Bugle best, because you can hook it up to Clucky's Timer, but having more toxic-style agents should help?

Hmm, Bubonic Bugle is only kind of good. My PC is quite slow, so would toxic steam as the Stinking Stump Plants do (but in stronger) better than hundreds of bacterias.
Cluckys Site The High Tech Hand seemd to be down when I wanted to visit it the last time to get stuff...

Slider syndrome is a genetic disorder, which means it cannot be cured within the affected's lifetime.
You can only open up a genetics editor, do some fixing to the pose and gait genes (and maybe some fixes to the brain as well, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it), and reinject a clone of that norn which is able to move.

My tip: kill hots all the Sliders. It is a fast and painless.

Or you could export them and then delete them. I also find this to be a humane method as they won't know a thing.
I wish there was another way to help them but it seems the only way would be to know what things to fiddle with in the Genetics kit to set them right, (Like GrendelMan suggested).
Edit: I have a sort of problem. My neon red and green Zebra Norns are doing okay but they keep making the little 'ow!' noise every so often.
I'm not sure what causes them to be in pain, although they seem completely healthy otherwise. When asked if hurt or ill they always reply with "name...intensely well" or "name...happy" "name...quite bored" Yet they still make the 'pain' sound.
