Well,I want to know If I can make the C12DS grendels friendly,and if possible teach them handish.Keep in mind I only have DS and C12DS. In my nerd cave, nobody can hear you scream. Feed my pets: Shroomy and Glow! |

Well, I don't know how you could make them more friendly, apart from teaching them not to hit Norns and showing them kindness with tickles and toys. But I do know a fast way to teach all creatures all the words they can say instantly. You open the CAOS command line by pressing 'Shift ctrl c' all at once and then type in: enum 4 0 0 vocb next And press 'Enter' That instantly teaches full vocabulary to all creatures and more caos codes can be found here: http://creatures.wikia.com/wiki/C3/DS_CAOS_Codes To close the command line again, just press 'Shift ctrl c' again and it will close. ^_^ Good luck! I really miss when the answer to this question didn't involve non-game elements. Make them friendly by introducing them to norns slowly and training their reactions. Teach them like you would any other creature with the holistic learner in the Meso... which is a cheat in itself, but hey. |

I gather the C12DS grendels are naturally more friendly than those shipped with C3. Teach them their words, teach them to trust you - feed them and tickle them and tell them 'yes' when they do the right thing and 'no' when they're being naughty. once you've got them enjoying your prescence, introduce them to norns and see how they get on. I must warn you though that I've often seen norns behaving provocatively to grendels (taking their food, being furry and cuter-than-thou, etc.) so be sure to punish the norns too, if they deserve it. Although The Truth About Grendels is only for C1 and C2, it has many truths about the grendelish race, and tips and tricks for proper socialisation of the two species.  My TCR Norns |

Tickeling and slapping the grendels to teach them how to act with norns is one way. You could also try to make a more friendly genome for them. A non-slapping grendel is one of the easiest things. Malkin wrote: Sorry, but thats so not right. In theory they know the words yes and no, but sadly it is not used. CL made it possible to teach them like that, but in the end they wiped it out of all genomes. The only genomes I know which really get affected by these words are some genomes by me (all not published yet) and the Grendels of Minimordor by Minisauron. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis...
