Hi everyone! My name is Marie, I'm 17 years old and I have beenplaying creatures since I was about 4 years old First I got creatures adventures from my parents as my first pc game. I will never forget those awesome times :p When I was 7 years my uncle gave me creatures 3 as he saw how much I liked the series. From that point I never wanted something else, having played that game for many hours now. Of course, there have been moments when I didn't touch my c3 for about a year or something but now I have come to the point where I want to add some new features like new norn breeds and metarooms. Though I 'm not really into those things. So help is welcome! (I have also.played c1 but I think you should have played it in your younger years to truly like it. Add: I have also got c2 but don't know how to install it to my windows 7 Btw I'm from the Netherlands so don't take my English grammar too serious  (last information: I own Docking Station as well) |

Hello, TigerCivet! I hope you enjoy Creatures Caves, it's lovely to have another new member join us. Don't hesitate to ask if you need anything. I see you've been playing Creatures since you were 4? That's a little bit die-hard and awesome!I'd also recommend investing in a copy of Creatures: The Albian Years (a compilation of C1 & C2) from GOG.com; you'll probably have more luck getting Creatures 2 to run on Windows 7 that way. It's been re-programmed to be friendlier with newer operating systems. It's ever so cheap to buy too! |

Yep, I think I am a die-hard player I have C1 and 2 on the original CD-roms, will I be able to play C2 that way? Is there a patch for it or something? Second question: when I try to download new breeds from this site, they don't appear in my game  How can I fix it? |

It might be a bit trickier to get C1 and C2 running on Windows 7 from the original CD-Roms. There might be a workaround, but I don't have Windows 7 so I don't know personally. Feel free to ask any questions you have in the Help Forum, by the way. We're collectively a helpful bunch around here, so I'm sure you'll get the answers you need if you post there! Don't forget to provide as many details as you can too; it just helps us to help you more. |

Welcome TigerCivet! A few months I managed to get my C2 game to run on Win7. I had to change something in the C2 exe file, but I don't remember what it was. |

I only have the first two Creatures games, but I've been thinking about downloading Docking Station as well. I also have Petz 4, although I don't have it installed at the moment. Nice to meet you! |

Welcome to Creatures Caves! As Laura and Hawk have said, I definitely recommend getting Docking Station. A lot more is being made for DS than C1 or C2, DS has lots of useful features that weren't there before, and with C12DS and C2toDS, you can have the other games in it as well.
