Minky Grendelchi Trell | born 6/3/2013 | 7 | Minky was a skinny little thing, a soft hearted Grendel who was hatched in a pile of dusty soft blankets somewhere in the forest. She was snuffly and loved soft things, especially if they're fluffy. Truly a Grendelchi of the woods, Minky enjoyed a good romp in the forest, exploring, wood carving, and lazing in the trees, munching apples. Sometimes, in her spare time, Minky liked to act like a monkey!
Despite being rather thin, Minky was quite strong from climbing trees. She had taken advantage of her extremely light build to teach herself to hang from her own tail!
She often watched unsuspecting Creatchis who wander into her arboreal abode from up in the treetops. She meant no harm though, she was just too shy to come down and say hello!
Minky felt slightly jealous of the soft fur that other Creatchis possess, and rather disliked that she has spiky scales instead. When she got older, and met a fabulous young Ettin by the name of Peaches, she learned to love her scales and became rather proud of them!
In her childhood, Minky was still very timid and shy, but she became rather adventurous! She stomped around the woods, having make believe adventures in a blanket fort with her favorite toys. Also included in her little adventures is her good friend Grog, who happily tagged along wherever she went.
As an adolescent, Minky was much more confident and eager for real adventures and excitement. She was a creatchi of habit, however, and was sure to return to her pile of fluffy blankets in her grassy forest home each night.
Despite being less timid now, she still found herself shying away from most other Creatchis; often preferring to watch them carefully from the trees. This often left her feeling rather lonely though.
Minky was married to her childhood friend, Grog, and had two darling sons to call her own. She loved her husband and both her children dearly, though she never got to see her second baby hatch. She was very proud of her little family.
In adulthood, Minky grew very fond of her forest home. She was an expert tree climber, and could identify all the plants that grow there. As she grew into old age, she met a lovely young Ettin by the name of Peaches, and quickly befriended her. Peaches helped her overcome her shyness and love herself for who she was.
Though she is passed on, Minky will forever be remembered.
Rest in peace, little monkey. Minky feels sleepy~ |

"Well, luckily I am done as of now. Shall we head towards my abode?" Peaches offered "My friend that I mentioned earlier has recently sent me some goodies that will surely help us with the makeover process!"
| |
|
Minky smiled with a wave of her hand. "Pshaw, take all the time you need!"
| |
|
"Give me a moment." Peaches said before going to the stream to wash off.
After some time that was a bit longer than intended, Peaches came out of the stream again "Forgive me, but a lady must always be gentle with her cleaning process. Even if she must sacrifice some time."
| |
|
Minky returns from the stream, free of mud and clean as a whistle! "Ready to go?" She says with a smile.
| |
|
"Ugh..." Peaches carefully inched her way into the mud puddle..not even making a splash. She let out a shaky sigh before heading out of the mud bath as quickly as she could.
| |
|
"Well then, I'll hurry up!" With a grin and a wink, Minky completely coats herself in the mineral mud! Careful not to splatter any on her little pink friend, she hurries over to a little stream to wash it off.
| |
|
"Not really, its just a start to begin your makeover! We might as well get you dirty now, then later." Peaches gave a shrug.
| |
|
Minky smiles, drawing a flower on her scaly red tummy. "Any particular reason for the dirt aversion?"
| |
|
"I suppose.." Peaches moved the mud around on her fingers as well.
| |
|
Minky chuckles and swirls her finger around in the mud. "It's odd at first, definitely. But once you let it work its magic... Ahhh..."
