the Eragon movie will be out in theartres in dec. 15. i am a big fan and know from the critics that it will be like the Lord of The Rings. i know this is'nt creature related, but i thought it would be good to tell the comunity about the wonderful movie. so please dont beat me. eragon? By Christopher Paloni (Possible spelling)? That was a fairly enjoyable book. I just hope they dont mess it up in the movie like they did with a series of unfortunate events. Nine times have I been told im crazy and ten times I have accepted it. |

I haven't seen a trailer yet, but the dragons supposedly look good. Is that release date in America? NZ is going to get it way later than everyone else The only movies we got first were the Lord of the Rings ones. |

Poor you... I never read the books even though my evil step-dad got thjem both for christmas.. he never let anyone even touch them... I'll try to catch it if my mom can gather the money.. ![:\](/images/smilies/confused.gif ":\") It'll be hard cause' my step-dad is the only person who works.. and he got fired a few weeks ago and got his job back on..Friday?  Just the book looks Reeaaalllly good. I want to read it reeeeaaalllllyy bad, but he wont let m,e, or anyone else for that mattter, touch it. I think it will come out sometime next year in september draco :3Or maybe october.... or apirl... What teather is it coming out in? Some teathers release movies in the teather on different dates. Awmanman I have to disagree there! I love both the books and the movie, and I believe that the movie was seriously underated. Of course they had to make cuts, they we're trying to fit three books into one movie, or they'd never stop making the films! Jim Carrey was awsome as Count Olaff and the whole look and feel of the film was just right. And back on topic...: one of my best friends has read the Eragon serise and tells me its very good so I'll probably be giving this film a try. I cannot wait for it to come out! Nither can my dad... They showed a poster board at my local movie theater, showing some of the actors and speceil effects, and it looks promising! I still hope they do one on the Bartimaus trilogy though... Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)> |

well, i heard that the film was going to be like a action packed not-so-long lord of the rings. and the Series of Unfor. movie. i was disappointed that Olaf was kinda 'crazy' and overacting just alittle, but that was about it. Jim Carry is good at certain roles however in other movies. i have seen the trailer and got imformation on the actors for Eragon. Eragon is blonde Edward Speelers and Durza looks sickining in my opinion. Beware what remains hidden in the day. For it may harm the unwary. |

Well, I never doubted Jim would be great, but the fact that the ripped the storie appart and dragged it all over the place. They put the end of the first book at the ending of where the third book should be and ripped the chunk out of the last book to put near the beginning! Im shure eragon wont go overboard though, seeing as it could be interperated in so many whays to different people, mutch like harry potter was. Nine times have I been told im crazy and ten times I have accepted it. |

Oh My Bibble! there was a Eragon comercial on the world series! but there is something else i saw. Saphira has feathers. its true. even the book says she had battish membrane wings. but feathered wings, how are they going to explain arrow wounds? feathers would get burned if she breathes fire meybe. of course though feathered wings would make the dragon more beutiful. and in Eldest they describe the Ra'zacs steeds havgeing battish wings, so a bat winged creature fighting another batwinged creature wouldn't make since. i am sure they were feathers. i am birder, and a scaled wing? that sounds weird. they were clearly light blue feathers with bands like an eagle. Beware what remains hidden in the day. For it may harm the unwary. |
