Is there still a way to get these? Ali seems to be uncontactable, or at least I haven't found a way to this afternoon/evening. Failing that, is there a way to stop the popup? It's not actually hurting anything, I guess, but I'd rather not have to look at it. Kill hots only gets rid of it briefly and then it returns. Conclude with killer catchphrase. I once, uh, "had a look" at how NG2 works, especially in regards to the passwords. The password depends on... I think it was the first letter of your hand's name, as displayed in the options menu. It just so happens that this was set to your DS login name upon world creation by default. One way you could do it is to just get literally any name/PW combo that is known to work, change your hand's name temporarily and unlock it. A more drastic approach would be to knock the whole agent file open with some form of PRAY tool. The list is stored plainly readable in one of the cosfiles. I for one eventually didn't want to bother with it anymore, so I modified my copy to be permanently PW free. I didn't publish it for obvious reasons. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... On Eemfoo there's norngarden downloads with the password files included, but I think basically, if you have no username for norngarden 2 it's "pudding". You know...wait...nevermind... wait...no...umm...maybe later... |

Oh, I thought there was more resistance to public password sharing, since it is technically a paid download. If I knew that sooner, I would not've danced around the issue like that  Also, if you use some sort of offline patch, your name defaults to "hand" I think, so given the above list, "glenda" may be worth trying. That was, after all, a very long time ago. It's not too surprising. After all, at least some of us bought it, and with the passing of years, preserving the work starts to feel like the greater priority, I think. I did try to find the original creator, but given they seem to be uncontactable, this is the only option to preserve their work. And now that I'm using the metaroom, it's really pretty.
