In c3/DS I've had a few wolfing runs, and from one of them I got some Norns that are amphibious! How could this be if the ancestors of these Norns were all land Norns?
Right now I have about 15 of them underwater in the Marine Terrarium, and they are all doing fine. Although, none of them seem to be able to breed () and they are all fastagers.
Is this a whole new mutation or something? |

It is possible for Norns to mutate to be able to "possess" guils to breathe underwater, but to keep lungs to breathe on land. It may be because your Norns are starting to evolve into more complicated life forms. What generation are they (and will you post them on Creatures Caves? )?

Are any on your norns adopted from web-sites? If so, you may have got two or more with the recessive amphibious gene that became dominant when they bred.
I've seen the amphibious norns on a couple of sites.

Hawksight: Most of them are about Generation 44900 +.
And yes, I'll post some for you!
Once I put them up for download I'll PM you the names.
Sissy2007: No, I don't think that any of the parents were adopted from websites.
Another weird thing about them is that they sort of "swim" in the water. O_o They like float for a few seconds, then they go sideways and then they fall back to the ground. They don't go high, though. Just like an inch or so. Can you try to explain that? |

That happens to mine too. It's part of their mutation, most likely.

Now I have like 100 of those Norns!! |
