  Ever wanted to take care of a norn, grendel or ettin while browsing Creatures Caves? Well, now you can! Allow me to introduce an all-new website feature here at Creatures Caves: Creatchi, the online Creatures game. You may select a Creatchi egg to hatch a new, random Creatchi, or you may adopt an offspring of some community users' Creatchis (available in the future after some Creatchis have already bred). Please read the Official Creatchi Care Guide for more information.Special thanks to Ghosthande for creating all of the incredible sprites. It wouldn't have been possible without her! Are we supposed to be able to delete them? I clicked on an egg out of curiosity (to see if we at least got the option of species) and wound up adopting it. Something that's mildly bothering me: at the moment, all three species of Creatchi call themselves "Eem." Grendels never use "eem" - they use "fig," "beh," "ung," and "grndl." Ettins sometimes use it, but (to me at least) "eem" is more of a norn-exclusive thing and ettins are better identified through the use of "er" and "etn." Granted, I figure the real reason the Creatchis use "Eem" regardless of species is coding convenience, but it's something to consider. Risen Angel's Creatures Blog |

Actually I haven't played with grendels or ettins in a while so I just assumed that they all say "eem". But now that you mention it, I guess it does seem odd. I'll be sure to teach grendels and ettins some new pronouns soon. Thanks for the feedback!- Rascii |

I always remember Grendels calling themselves Fig. And either Ettins or also Grendels were Bub. Is it just me, or is anyone not getting extra supplies yet? I have a feeling there's something I've not done yet to get another ball or food or something. But, something like posting a COB, not sure I could do that until I learn CAOS all over again  Also, I'd need to be a Staff Member.Just curious, as I see older Creaturechi's fully satisfied, yet mine is now needing more fun and I've run out of all my toys. -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate! |

Off-topic again: Posting COBs, breeds, etc. requires no coding experience (in CAOs or otherwise). You're allowed to post things other people have made - all you need is an image and a website link (or the .zip file, if the website's been defunct for a while). On topic: I have a suggestion - perhaps there could be a "weekend feeder" for Creatchis so that people who have to take time off the site can leave without their Creatchis suffering too much? The downside to this is that the thing could be easily abused, but I imagine there's several ways to get around that. Risen Angel's Creatures Blog |

I think earning a temporary weekend feeder would be useful. Earning it like earning the rest, and use it like the rest whenever needed, and like the rest (rest as in toys, food, medicine) it lasts such a time, then the Creatchi begins demanding food again like normal. Malkin: Can't win cheese and teddies when you're not on the website, now can you?  The feeder is meant for people who have to take time off the website. They give their Creatchi a feeder, and when they get the chance to return they can come back to a Creatchi that's still alive and reasonably healthy as opposed to half-dead or completely dead. Click it and your creatchis instantly interact and the social bar goes up a little. keep playing with creatchis until the bar is full. When your creatchi's bar is full, you can't "meet" or interact with other creatchis anymore. (Until the bar drops again) To interact with creatchis you've already "meet" before, check you're creatchi's stats. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions, everyone. I just finished teaching grendelchis and ettinchis how to speak properly. To be honest I don't think the weekend feeder is necessary because if you neglect your creatchi for two days it will still be very alive on Monday (provided it wasn't already almost dead on Friday). Also: Items should be a bit easier to find now. - Rascii |
