The crux with the small norns and world | |

hi,
what do you think? Often when I play creatures it seems to me that everything is too small. Rooms like the Norn Meso or Learning Room have black background on the sides, because the resolution is too high for the game. The baby norns look pixelated, it is sometimes hard to feel a connection to the norns, because they are so small. Before the era of 1920 x 1080 the feeling of being “in game” was higher, I was not possible to consider every floor in the world the same time on the screen.
Last year I bought a 4K monitor, a big mistake, it is now dusty in the basement and rotting there, because if I play creatures on it, it is just horror how small everything looks.
There are the CAtoDS Norn Breeds (sadly no more downloadable) who are bigger in size, fitting more with today's screen resolution and rooms like KT, with bigger walkways. But the problem is, those norns and rooms are not matching in size with the original and most community made objects and norn breeds.
What do you think, do you like it bigger, bigger norn breeds, bigger rooms, or do you like it the old way? |

Just play the game at its intended window size of 800x600 and the world will feel big again. Fullscreen mode also puts the game into its intended resolution, but can be a bit stretched out on bigger monitors. The game was designed for much smaller monitors in mind, kind of like those old narrow website designs. |
