General Forum New Feral Run Volunteers    Dreamnorn      8/31/2007 Laura's C2 Feral Run looked like such fun to host, so I thought I'd make one of my own. It'll take place in C2, like Laura's (C2 is by far the most interesting game to me) and will hopefully not crash the second the first baby is born. I'm having trouble setting up Alba, but I already have what I need for it: World: Don's modified Albia (called Alba). It's a great place for the Feral Run to take place. Vendors: Ammonite Vendor (nutricious seafood), Blueberry Juice Vendor, Candy Dispenser (yay! Delicious sweets!), Cheese Plate, Fruit Dispenser, Lime Vendor (thirst-quenching), Medical Dispensor, Mussel Vendor, Shrimp Vendor, Skyfruit (food for flying/floating Norns, like Angel Norns), Watermellon. Toys: Bubble Gun, Cupid Doll, Grendel Doll, Kite, Laser Gun, Plush Norns, Pop Rocket, Purple Ball, Toy Car, Toy Dog, Word Wizard Updates: I have the Bees Update so they die correctly, the Death Script Update and the Death Update for Norns, Grendels, and Ettins when they die, the Drinking Update so the water fountain can be used easier by Norns, the Fishing Rod Update for the hungry loners that live above the big ocean, the Fungi Update, and the Ocean Bridges. Other: I've made the critters edible for the fun for the creatures, plus I've introduced the famed Speedy the Doozer to the desert. If you'd like to enter in a Norn, just say "I'd like to enter a male/female ________ Norn, please!" and he or she will be part of the run. If you wish to submit one of the Norns in your world, please send it to my email address: avalonemrich@sbcglobal.net. You can submit up to two Norns, but I'd preferably like only one per user. Sorry But the grendels are for the harship. I want or hope they hurt the norns. I’ll remove the Fishing Rod Update, most of the toys, and half of the vendors. EvilSpirit: I can’t seem to get Viara. The site’s down. nornloverain: Erm… what are “Dewey” Norns? O_o I can’t find them on my Google Search. EDIT: The Night Norn won't work. The game crashes when I try to add one. GM, you might have to choose a different breed, sorry. Zira   Pulppu   9/1/2007 I want to add male Furry Essex Norn   christine   9/1/2007 nornloverian: actually, they weren't, except for in c3. in c1, the game was scripted so that no matter what the grendels tried to do to another creature (push, pull, etc) it would come out as a hit. grendels otherwise would get along with norns just fine, as they truly weren't that genetically different. in c2, this was changed, but the grendels were quite similar to norns behavior wise, and if they're deadly it's because they often live in disease ridden conditions and don't get any medical attention in c3, people were complaining that grendels were no challenge, so their genetics were restructured so the grendels would seek out and beat norns due to instincts. even then they don't always do it sorry, hijacking the thread. Pulppu: the Furry Essex Norn you requested is here! But… he doesn’t look like a FE Norn. I haven’t a clue what happened to make him look like this: Would you like to keep him in the run or remove him and get another Norn? Here are the other Norns requested: nornloverain (female) nornloverain2 GrendelMan …You know… the world may not get too far with just babies in it. Would someone like to send me an older/more experienced Norn for the run?
