A pregnant norn of mine died of a disease because they are so obsessed with the jungle  She was kinda a favorite but I look away for 5 minutes and she's dead. Is there a way to save her egg at all? This is C3/DS btw. |

Hover the hand over her, then open up the CAOS command line (Shift+Ctrl+C) and type:
Then hit Enter. There is some chance she will lay her egg, but be quick or the body will disappear. |

Okay thank you. Edit - I'm unfamiliar with CAOS and couldn't manage it fast enough but thanks again for the advice. |

If it happens again, you can actually neutralize the death script until you've got the egg out. However, I'd wait until you're more familiar with CAOS before doing that. Here's an interesting blog post on doing egg extraction in C1. |

Alternatively you can get the Eggernator. It got a button to extract eggs from pregnant creatures. Clicking on Eggernator's cabin/base automatically picks creatures in front of it, including dead ones. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |
