This thread is about what Creatchi you chose to raise, and why. It doesn't have to be your current one, and if you don't have a Creatchi, just say what egg you would choose and why. I'll start: I chose Damarako because, well, he was my first Creatchi and I had to pick something. As for Emtiruan, he had a good family and I thought he'd probably have cool colors. After two nornchis, I needed a change of pace, so I went with Kytoril, who was a grendelchi, and also had interesting genetics (his grandmother, Mulgogi). So, why did you pick your Creatchi? Hi! |

Cody (who is the third Creatchi adopted since the release!) was my first, so I had no control over that one, but I love her anyway. I picked Sprig by accident, and so far she's been my favourite. I picked Minky because she's Cody's grandchild. I picked Thimble because I hadn't had an Ettinchi yet, and because, you know, pink. c: I had probably the most fun coming up with his personality. I chose my little Fern because she had the highest chance of being my favourite green, and was conveniently a descendant of Sprig. Gabriel was another accident, and my first male Nornchi. It was a nice change to have a male again, and he ended up married into Sprig's family, which was nice. I picked Trish because I needed another change of pace after having two Nornchis in a row, and also because I wanted an female Ettinchi. The aqua colour is a nice perk, too.  Pretty much any Norn I ever get will be descended of Sprig, or married into her family. Grendels will probably follow the same pattern from Cody, and Ettins are up for debate. Fig was my first, so nothing I can do there. Banana was my second I got him on accident, but I ended up loving him any way I then got Gertie I was just trying to get a random one but she was in Fig's family. and Cassiopeia is just a random creatchi that I love. :3 Herb |

I didn't really choose Eddie, or Sahara, but I still love them both. Rping Sahara will always be a highlight of Creatchi for me, even with the amazing stories my other Creatchi's have had. I sort of chose Lyssia, even her birthday, on purpose. She is actually named after and old character of mine, Lysander, but she turned out female so I just named her Lyssia. I chose Peryite on purpose because I'd never had a Grendelchi until then and he was an awesome Creatchi. I didn't really choose Lucky as much as I chose to just get a random Creatchi, and he turned out to be.. interesting. X3 I can't say I have a favorite, but Lyssia and Sahara will always be special to me. If fact the most fun I've had with Creatchi has been the role playing. <3 The Mobula Ray - My Creatures blog |

Carla, my first Creatchi, was picked entirely by accident. I was trying to see if we at least got a choice of species back when Creatchi was first made available to the public (hint: the answer was no). Nevertheless, I found her fun to have around and eventually turned her into a C3/DS creature, who serves as my avatar to this day. Tiana was adopted because I wanted a grendelchi. The fact that she turned out brown despite having two green parents was coincidence. Joseph was again a random first-gen because I felt like picking a first gen. Saya's birth was a glitch - her egg was laid after her mother died of old age. I saw this, saw the potential interesting plotlines that could come of it, and absolutely had to have her. I managed to adopt her, and lo and behold she became my favorite of my Creatchis. I got Izanami as a result of yet another plot idea - one that completely fell flat due to my inability to keep a good Creatchi RP streak going. To top it all off, she didn't get a mate and wound up squandering the Grendelchis' lead in generations. Between this and her uninteresting color shared by most of her ancestors, she holds the dubious honor of being my least favorite Creatchi. Nameless was adopted when Rascii made it that long-time Creatchi raisers could pick the species and gender of a first-gen egg. Kaiyouhime, my current (as of this writing) Creatchi, was picked after I decided it was worth it for the change of pace. Between the fact that I'm happy with the personality I've written for her, she has a mate with whom she created children with (likely) interesting color combos, and her being descended from Hannibal (one of my favorite Creatchis that was owned by somebody else), she's quickly cemented a spot among my favorites. I chose my current Creatchi, Alex, because I thought it was time for a Grendelchi, and because I needed a male for the character idea I had. My original plan was to pick a Grendelchi that would probably be orange, but I felt like adopting a first gen. I don't remember why I chose Kay. I think I hadn't figured out how to select an egg by gender and species, so I just clicked on one at random. Hannibal was again chosen based on a character idea. I needed a Creatchi that was male, descended from Zetta IV (the organ thief) and related to Ludwig and Johann II. Petra was chosen because I wanted to have the first purple Ettinchi. No other reason, really, other than that I just like Ettinchis. I adopted Patrick back when it was random, so there was no real choice. Michelle and Hanna were chosen because they were the children of my other Creatchis. Grendel_Man wrote: The Carla avatar is great. Great idea for a topic Tarilithina, but oh my gosh, so many to Creatchis to write about! I chose my first two creatchis, Ruby the Nornchi and Babs the Ettinchi, because they were identical to the two I'd raised during the beta stage and I missed them. Gadget: He was Babs' son and I'd missed out on adopting Ruby's offspring, Mocha. Grotbags: I'd already decided in my mind that I wanted a female Grendelchi next, and that's what her name was going to be. She was named after one of my favourite childhood TV characters and it just seemed to fit her, in terms of looks and personality! Mistoffelees: It had been a long time since I'd adopted my first Nornchi and I fancied a change. Twiglet: She was Mistoffelees' great grandson and I'd had a hunch that she was going to resemble a Treehugger Norn because of her mother, Delayla. And finally, Domino: He's Twiglet's son and I still miss her. Out of all the creatchis I've had, I think she's my favourite. |

I chose Beryl because at the time there was a lack of male Ettinchis but a lot of females! It only felt right to even it out, and now he and his partner have had an egg! Very exciting. |

I chose Rosidae because her egg was sitting about for an exceptionally long time, and I couldn't ignore the comments! Plus, Ettinchis don't seem to be as common as Nornchis and Grendelchis, so I figured it would be a nice change of pace from my usual Creatchi species. |

My first three creatchis I picked cause the eggs looked cool. They didn't have the best of lives, sadly, since I was really busy at work at the time. Then I got off work for the school year and got Maeve because I wanted a non-first gen.  She was beautiful and I loved her. Then Arti, because she was Maeve's daughter, and now Nike, who I picked because she was in the same family line. I think Arti is my favorite so far. |

I figured it was about time he got hatched. Kiwi: I went with the oldest (or one of the oldest?) eggs I saw again, if I remember right. Cloverleaf: He and his brother were the only male Nornchi eggs up for adoption at the time. |

I picked Ambros' egg because i thought he had a pretty egg, and he didn't always have the best day since i'm very forgetful ((I'm sorry Ambros! TT_TT)) but he did end up living peacefully i think. Jawbreaker had a lovely mother and father so i was interested in seeing how she turned out, even though i guessed she was going to look like her brother |

My first creatchi Talorio was chosen simply because he had an awesome-looking egg. My second and third creatchis, Shadyk and Calemvir, were chosen because there were loads of female ettinchis but few males and I thought they would have a large chance of finding a mate. My fourth creatchi and my first creatchi that wasn't a male ettinchi was Dastia and I picked her because there wasn't a whole lot of female grendelchis at the time. I remember how hard it was picking a mate for her, given how many interesting choices there was. My favorite creatchi as of right now is probably Talorio, though Shadyk is a strong contender too. |

Well i did not choose another Creatchi because i dont have time to regular check in, just to klick on some buttons to feed it, also my Board Activity is somewhat low so i would not get the Supplies that are needed. Greetings Ham5ter moep! |

Blooberry: She was the first Creatchi I adopted, I had no choice. Onyx: I wanted the first third gen Creatchi. Lizzy: Like Onyx but she was the first fifth gen. I never liked her that much and I wasn't around a lot to take care of her. Basil: With my return to the forums I thought it would also be a good idea to get a Creatchi, and why not an Ettinchi since I never had one before? I wish I could have made any of them interesting or cool like the others... Maybe my next Creatchi will be a descendant of Onyx, Lizzy or Basil... |

Each one is a need to continue with a multi-gen Creatchi, I tend to skip Ettinchis, and I like either following by my original Creatchi's lines or trying offspring from parent's color combos that might end up really cool. I do seem to notice I liked my older Creatchis like Tangarao and Willia Wonka over my current ones though. -Karias; a bit fruity and gone bananas in the wrong climate!  |

I clicked on the first egg because I noticed people getting creatchis but didn't know anything about them. I waited for a bit and nothing happened; so I forgot about it. It was only when I next logged in (nearly a full day later) that I realised I had a very distressed nornchi on my hands! The second egg was a grendelchi - I have a feeling there was no selection possible at that point, the eggs were completely random, and I was hoping for an ettinchi. But having got a grendelchi that managed to breed, all the other creatchis I've adopted have been direct descendants in the same family line. |

It doesn't matter if someone's already called dibs on an egg. As a general rule, users can't reserve Creatchi eggs; they're adopted on a strictly first come, first serve basis. It works out fairer to everyone this way. |

I picked Hircine because I wanted to name Peryite, Hircine in the first place, but decided not to. I just tracked down a random descendant from him and adopted the egg. I'm hoping to roleplay Hircine more then I did Uno or Lucky. InsanityPrelude, it's okay. I sort of figured that Nornchi would be adopted. I'm just glad Lucky's descendants are in good hands.
