General Forum Genetics Kit Fails    Wee Scrivener Trell        1/6/2013 I love the Genetics Kit. I've fiddled around with it loads of times, and usually it works out okay, but there's still the occasional bork in the genes and something goes wrong. In hindsight, some of them were kind of funny, like an accidentally immortal C1 Norn that I left on all day, then panicked because I though it would have died, or an Ettin that I made genetically afraid of food. (Somehow eating produced fear. She still ate, but she didn't like it.) Some I thought to be genetic fails actually turned out to be some of my most beloved creatures, like Fali, who ended up with such a low level of glycogen at birth, turned out to be the best eater of the whole group. To all those gengineers out there, what's your biggest genetic flop? Don't care; I'm a bear.   Peppery One Papriko   1/7/2013 Tried to make a creature with mutating genus gene. At first it worked. It were Norns, but also produced Grendels, Ettins and Geats. Then I've set the mutation rate higher which was less funny. Game kept crashing, because it tried to make Creatures of type 7 and similar. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis...
