General Forum Boom-de-yada CC cover    xrainxofxbloodx      7/31/2012 If you haven't heard the boom-de-yada song yet, you should probably stop living under a rock. XD You can check it out at this link: The World Is Just Awesome I think it would be a great idea if we did a cover of this song, with members of the creatures community singing about what they love to do in creatures games. Not only would this be pretty cool, it would also make a pretty awesome ending for the CCSF. Step 1: Lyrics Each person who wants to, submits one line about what they love about creatures or what they love doing while playing creatires. "I love _____". Remember that the syllables have to add up. Also, I expect more submissions then available spots, so your submission is not gauranteed to make it into the final composition. If it does, you'll need to be able to ecord yourself singing. There are three sections, each sections has four "I love ____" lines, one "I love the CC" line, another line, which is apromiately 6 syllables, and four 'boom-de-yadas'. At the end of the song, there is 8 more 'boom-de-yadas'. NOTICE: Before you submit a line, please count the syllables in it. The ideal number of syllables is 6. If you fall short, or have one too many, please try to adjust your lines. If you can't get it to exactly 6, 5 or 7 will likely do, but please try to get it as close to 6 as possible. Step 2: Composing Once all the lines are compiled, they will be made available for everyone to copy, print, etc. If your line makes it into the lyrics, you'll need to record yourself singing your line and anything with 'ALL:' infront of it. Do not include the instrumental in your recording. Listen to the instrumental in headphones, earphone, earbuds, etc., and record yourself singing along. There might be a karaoke video to sing along with, we'll see. TIP: For recording, I recommend you make a pop filter, if you don't already have one. A pop filter is a screen between your mouth and the microphone. It helps keep the recording cleaner. You can make one by taking a piece of thin fabric (such as used in pantyhose) and strecthing it over a frame of some kind. A cross-stiching hoop would work well. After it's done, simply hold it in front of the mic while recording (but make sure they don't touch). The release date is the day the CCSF ends. Submit your lines and spread the word! Don't forget.
