The design group, ARSGRAFIK seems to be a place to go if you want public domain artwork to spruce up a webpage or free gimp brushes etc., so it seems to be just a case of 'we wanted something different, and we wanted it free!' ? My TCR Norns |

Good to see that it's been updated... But I agree with Ghosthande, that it looks like a blog. And it doesn't seem to say computer/software/gaming company to me... More of a mythological or historical feel? Maybe it's leading up to a more active role for the company? |

Yeah, honestly, it looks a lot like a (free)webs website. It is powered by Wordpress, so the people saying it looks like a blog were on to something. I'm surprised, I thought it would just disappear before it ever underwent a redesign. The Creatures page doesn't actually have any links on it, besides a contact us form. So there's no way to get to any of the old pages unless you know the URL or do a Google search. |

I personally think it's an inappropriate design for their website. And I feel that it's inappropriate for a legitimate company to be using free web designs. The design itself is lovely, but it doesn't mesh with Gameware Development or make them appear to be a professional company. And the Times New Roman textual headline at the top kills me. - Rascii |

Yeah... unless they plan on coming out with some steampunk- or 20,000 Leagues-themed game in the near future, I really don't understand why they went with it. |

Maybe I missed it yesterday, but it looks like there is a new button on the Docking Station Central page to find out more. It links to the standard pages... But that button looks REALLY out of place. And to someone who uses rounded corners, the non-transparent (white on brown background) corners make me cringe. Also... Um??? What is the image on this page? Don't think I saw that in any of the Creatures games! I think I might have nightmares now. Edit: Yikes! Just noticed this: The domain ending in .co.uk expired awhile back, and I thought it no longer belonged to Gameware Development. Their site ends in .com and is still the same as it has been for years: See it Here. |

I wonder why the .co.uk group is talking about Creatures, then? Ignoring the image of the chimera, the site content makes it out that this is THE Gameware. If it's literally being run by someone else then this is some kind of weird ripoff. |
