So will she lay the egg? If not, what should I do? I can't believe I did something so stupid...

Well, you could make an abortion. Make her the marked creature and then use the command
As alternative you could pick the Eggernator and extract the baby as egg.

I wonder what the egg will hatch into, as you may only have 1 gaia....

I once inseminated a female norn with with two samples from Gaia, and it hatched into a Gaia, but I exported it.

So Laura, are you talking about me inseminating Gaia, a Norn laying an egg that hatched into a Gaia, or both?
Well, I deleted the world but will inseminate my new Gaia, and get a new Gaia egg by taking two samples from her and inseminating a female creature. Then I'll take pictures.

AvatarFan: many gaia crossbreeds end up in crashes and worlds that can't be recovered. Don't do it in a world you care about!

OK, Liam, but mine is purely Gaia, but I'll export him (yes, him) anyway just to be safe.
Also, my profile on Imageshackus, containing the pictures I promised.

Haha, that's awesome. If it's purely gaia I can't see why it would crash the game, since what causes the crash is the graphics in crossbreeds.

I always splice my gaia with c3 ettins and my game never crashes. Either ettins with no arms or legs are born or the egg hatches but nothing comes out.

When nothing comes out it probably gets autokilled.

I have a Grendel with no arms or legs I got with the inseminator.

Sounds like autokilling to me too.
I like how the creatures with no legs can not walk, but the ones with no arms can still pick stuff up

When my Grendel/Gaia mix walks and picks stuff up, I can't help but find funny. On a not-as-related note, I once had this Norn that was part Aqua, and he/she (I can't remember) didn't have legs, but had a Bruin tail, I think. So it looked like it was sliding around when it walked.
