alright computer geeks, here's your chance! tell me all about your computer, its specs, and your favorite programs. i just bought a new eeepc. it's pretty small! 1.6ghz processor with a gig of ram, the only difference between this tiny thing and my old big one is size, and a single core processor  my must-have program is openoffice! everyone should use it imho. it's a nice alternative to microsoft office. your turn! 1.5 GHZ single core, 384 MB RAM (one 128 MB and one 256 MB strip), too old sockets to put new RAM in, a GeForce 5500 FX graphic board and... and... well, there is actually as good as nothing in XD And one of my fav programs... I think this is a good moment to point at Gimp. It is a great (and free!!!) alternative to PhotoShop. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

I use several, I'll just post this one: Type: Mac mini Processors: 1 Speed: 2.53GHz Cores: 2 Hard Drives: 1 (320GB Capacity, system profiler won't tell me the speed) Optical Drive: Slot-loading DVD RW, unknown speed, looks like DL Graphics: NVIDIA Gforce 9400 256MB OS: OS X 1.06 (Snow Leopard), Windows XP SP3 (also there is an Ubuntu VM) Other fun bits: Airpot 802.11n wireless, bluetooth, Intel HD audio, Firewire Must have program: A text editor! (That isn't vi :/) Edit: Forgot to post ram specs! 2 x 2GB DDR3 1067 MHz |
