Hey people, I am always searching for inspirations what would be a good/funny/interesting crossbreed, so I thought it would be nice to have a topic where we all can discuss some crossbreeds and how much success/miss-success you had with them. Maybe you also get some new ideas. Here are a few I know: 1. ChiChi + Fallow + Dusty Aqua: absolutely failed. They became fastagers, super-mega-ultra breeders, had total strange Gaits. So, for me the list is till now positive, but (and you might know what now comes) they became semi-immortal and I had to delete the world. 2. Draconian + Toxic: failed. My little brother wanted to breed something with Toxics and he thought the Draconians look cool. So he put them together. He had always the same problem: either the Toxic part died because of a lack of toxins or the Draconian part got too much toxins and died. Baby Draconians are very sensitive. 3. Banshee Grendel + Nano Norn: My friend Disguy told me that he breeds them. We share the computer, so I could watch him. Almost everything is invisible! They are only heads! XD The game classifies them as Norn, but they have a Banshee head. They also have the tick to carry norn-eggs around, but all in all they are friendly. I'll ask him to give me some of them, so I can put them up for adoption. So, what did you ever try? Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

I can't play Creatures on this accursed Vista machine, so I can't have any fun crossbreeding myself, but I'd love to see photographic evidence of some of these combinations if possible please!  Gumbo's little Gremlin-esque Norns sound cute. |

Good to see you again laura  Been ages since I left a2k  As for crossbreeds, I can't say i make many, but my favourite ones have to be fox norns with butterfly wings Butterfox Norn all in all, my link to creatures has dwindled. I daresay I'll be making more projects in the future though. You might know me as Hierophant, the one who tried making the Warlord breed. I try to help the CC through other methods now. |

It's a 3rd party breed somebody made (I can't remember where I got them). They look like Magmas, except they're this soft buckskin tan color, and they age more slowly than regular Magmas. |

I think I'll make another random run. I saw on Amai's blog a script to create a random egg, so I got an idea: just take the Portable Egglayer and type * as genome name. When I tried that, it worked and I realy got random eggs. I think I will create 2 of them and breed something with the creatures I get. Papriko, those three cross breeds, made me laugh, it's not only that funny, but, it makes me want to try those. *Glomps Papriko* Thank you for the entertaining norn cross breeds! Also, Amai has a blog? I bet Amai has awesomely hilarious cross breeds on her Jake TV channel. I look forward to your random cross breed! Laura, I'm sorry for you, but, I have XP, and DS works fine. I need to check which OS my little sister has on her computer (She has no internet though....). My parent's computer has vista, but we haven't tried C3 or DS, but, for us, vista is great! I think everyone has posted an amusing cross breed, if they posted one. I need to make some funny cross breeds. beep |

To that C2 thing I can't say anything, sorry... Yep, I am pretty sure Amai has some odd crossbreeds. The stuff she used + the thing whirling around in the warp + all those she got of me because of the "any online-user" function... XD And yep, Amai has a blog. Look in her siggy. Naturing :: Nurturing is the title and a link to it. I tried now my random run idea. Bondi Norn, Nano Norn, Pigeon Norn (genome by me, Dream, Butterfly and Siamese sprites) and Pink Poodle Ettin is it now. It is currently generation 2 because I wanted to bring in the PPE genes and used the Inseminator. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

Zebra-Civet-Fimbul. the fimbul norns needs old sprites. Estrella-Fimbul. There was a breed of those two. |

Just impregnates them. But you can use it to "splice" Creatures that couldn't breed normally. Which can be good or bad--you can use it to breed Grenorns, Grettins, etc., but you might end up propagating a line of infertile Creatures by accident. |

I once took every norn breed i had (no banshee grendals, toxic norns) and let them breed result: near all of them have c1 body bits When life hands you rocks, you throw them back When life hands you tubas, you mistake them for rocks |

Acientmagma= Erling made them ^^ He was the one helping me with the resize for the cavenorns and also helping me resize a bit of my msan norns too ^^ i wonder where he vanished,hasn't heard of him since then o.o' his site is here: http://erling_l.homepage.dk/ (he started a special forum too,wich breed developers could gather there to show off projects and such..but it seem quite dead now -_- it was called C.B.D.T (Creatures Breed Developer Team) i think it still on the net.. crossbreeds huh? dang i got a lot XD but one of my favs gotta be my neko ettins with butterfly wings and draconian legs XD undines neat too and.. there's so many i could name but i guess i stick to that XD a bit off topic: Run c1 on vista O.o? now im also curious about starscream's trick ^^' i readed everywhere and all people say that running c1 (and maybe c2) on vista= reg-edit= no good thing (unless you know what to do O.o' ) I hate vista >_< |

Oh is that where they're from? I like Erling's stuff. His breeds are some of my top favorites. C2 only works for Vista if you have the right kind of graphics card [which many people don't--myself included]. But yeah it's finicky. The game is finicky anyways--I've always had a hard time getting C2 to run on any computer. A few more breed cross ideas: Banshee Grendel x Emerald Norn Hardman x Ancient Magma Sea Ettin x AquaNorn |

Actually ghosthande, no matter what, I think each and every time, there will always be a giant body part with that breeding combo..... Oooh! What if it had a giant tail, just look, a tail walking around bigger than the actual creature! Or giant legs! I told you it'd be funny! If anyone has both of those breeds, breed them (Or, in this case, at least try XD!), and then post the picture online! beep |

Why should it be so difficult to breed CV and Nano Norns? Simply use the Inseminator till theyare on about the same height, then they have to do it alone. When they became infertile, you simply start again. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |
