I typed (using the Google Translator) it in German because she is a foreign exchange student from Germany and I thought it might be more romantic that way:
"Hallo Katherina, schrieb ich dieses Schreiben in Deutsch, nur für Sie. Würde es Ihnen etwas ausmachen, wenn ich ging mit Ihnen Ihre nächste Klasse? Wir könnten sogar zu Fuß draußen auf den Bürgersteigen rund um die Schule und nehmen Sie an der frischen Luft und zu sehen, wenn Sie wollen."
Here is an English version of it:
"Hi Katherina, I wrote this letter in German, just for you. Would you mind if I walked with you to your next class? We could even walk outside on the sidewalks around the school and take in the fresh air and view if you want." |

I'm taking a German language class during both the fall and spring semesters this year. I'll have to check back in a few months and see if I can read any of your message!

I don't know German so I can't comment on the translation accuracy, but the English sounds nice. Maybe you should PM Papriko, since he is German he could tell you if the translation is correct.

If I was Katherina, I'd feel touched by the idea of somebody writing a note to me in German when it isn't their first language, so I reckon there's a chance she will too. I think it shows that you're a thoughtful person, and if she's a nice girl I'm sure she'll go on a walk with you. |

Also, you could always use babel fish for translating, but, if you keep translating, you get funny results, translate from english, to german, to japanese, to dutch, to english, tell me what you get ^_^.

When you're using a translator, make sure to translate your end result back to English to make sure you're getting the desired message across, and research any words that don't come across right.
In your example, 'view' becomes 'see', which doesn't make much sense. Translator got confused by the missing 'the', so I fixed it for you:
Hallo Katherina, schrieb ich dieses Schreiben in Deutsch, nur für Sie. Würde es Ihnen etwas ausmachen, wenn ich ging mit Ihnen Ihre nächste Klasse? Wir könnten sogar zu Fuß draußen auf den Bürgersteigen rund um die Schule und nehmen Sie an der frischen Luft und der Blick, wenn Sie wollen.
She might be disappointed that you don't actually speak German. Good luck! |

Further insight reveals that you may want to replace der Blick with der Anblick. Der Blick is more like 'the look' whereas der Anblick translates as 'the prospect' or 'the view'. |

I think biological translators are better than electronics, so I'll try it.
Hi Katherina, I wrote this letter in German, just for you.
Hi Katherina, I habe diesen Brief in deutsch geschrieben, nur für dich. (Sie sounds so formal, as would you talk to an adult stranger or to your boss at work...)
Would you mind if I walked with you to your next class?
Möchtest du vielleicht mit mir zu deinen nächsten Stunden gehen?
We could even walk outside on the sidewalks around the school and take in the fresh air and view if you want.
Wenn du willst könnten wir sogar draußen um die Schule auf dem Bürgersteig spatzieren und die frische Luft und die Aussicht genießen.
So, once again but this time i one piece:
Hi Katherina,
Ich habe diesen Brief in deutsch geschrieben, nur für dich.
Möchtest du vielleicht mit mir zu deinen nächsten Stunden gehen? Wenn du willst könnten wir sogar draußen um die Schule auf dem Bürgersteig spatzieren gehen und die frische Luft und die Aussicht genießen.
I changed one or two sentences a little bit, but the sense is the same. This is much better than the grammatically disaster Google did. ^^
Google you should only use for single words...

Yeah, translators may make things wrong, which is why I said use babel fish, you get funny results, but, it shows how translators get things wrong.
