Strangeo Forum How much of a dork am I?    LoverIan      8/15/2009 Okay, I know it's a saturday, and I felt like saying this. My mom owns a duplex, and it it OLD! It keeps breaking so atleast once a year, my mom must fix it, like 2 years ago we remodeled it, and each year we fix it somehow. This year the old washer (AND OLD DRYER) broke, and it always had problems. So.... My mom put the washer and dryer from the house we live at in the duplex, so, my mom and stepdad bought a new washer and dryer. This was our first front loader washer plus dryer. It saves money It's state of the art It's high tech It's awesome My mom is scared of it <_<, O_O! And it has a window So, my stepdad, my mom, my little sister, my dog even O_O, and me, were all excited when it got delivered today. So, everyone inspected it, and then we found out it had to take special stuff. 1 hour later, after my mom and stepdad returned, we turned on the dryer, put my stepdad's jeans in. Then my little sister and me both watched it, because we wanted to act like it was a soap opera...... About 30 mins later, the time had flown by, and it was fun..... Then, my mom put her br... I mean delicates, in the washer, and we then turned it on. The four of us, excluding my dog as she had just become hyper... watched it for a good 30 minutes. 30 minutes left, my mom and stepdad stopped watching, so me and my little sister now watched it. Since they were my mom's delicates, we made a spoof, as they were mostly bras, we made the fake show 'bras in the city'..... I know, we're horrible. Afterwards, I typed this up and I think.... Am I a dork? If yes, I know, but my mom says I am her dork (Always makes me laugh, but she is kinda serious) If no, well you're kinda wrong, I know everyone has done this once, but seriously, I am a major dork I know, it's funny..... beep   Peppery One Papriko   8/16/2009 ... ...... ......... I've always seen it as synonymous with "quirky idiot." You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. I didn't mean to imply you were an idiot; that's just how I've always interpreted the word, and the dictionary backed me up, so I went with it. You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. But, I digress, or is it digest? Lol, but yes, I am quirky. I am not dumb, my little sister wanted to hop into the washer and turn it on full blast..... I was smart enough to tell her she could die.... OR GET HORRIBLY MAIMED IN THE PROCESS! beep   SpringRain   8/18/2009 Your new washing machine sounds neat! I wish I could I see it. We have a regular old washing machine but it works great. It has to do a lot of washing every week. Oh, and your dog sounds like a cutie! Lol. She went hyper...hee hee. I'm back again after being away a handful of years. 2026 Revamp, Baby!   LoverIan   8/20/2009 Trust me it is! It was, well, when it finishes, it sings a cute little song, beep beep beepity beep, or something like that, like an alarm, if you close the door to our laundry room, you CANNOT hear the washer or dryer, it is so quiet! It also has so many buttons! You can decide if you want the heat high, the time, mode, almost everything thinkable! My dog, she is powerful. She is only 5 (Soon to be 5 in september I believe), and guess waht, she is fast! She is a Jack Russel Terrier, also part Miniature Smooth Fox Terrier, the two most hyper dog breeds ever! She also, is extremely smart, because fox terrier is a smart breed. I found a book saying 'All Dogs Have ADHD', I laughed, the cover had a dog running through a field of flowers, and it had a mouth, hanging open. I have ADHD, and I think my dog actually does too! Because, well, if you scare her, she can run circles around our GIANT, J SHAPED COUCH, she can be one place at one point in time, then in another in an instant, she actually can move silently, without her collar even jingling. She is amazing for a dog, she loves everything, and loves to lick people. She if friendly, so friendly, she makes people think she is scary, or viscious, but, she jumps on people because she wants to know them, and love them! beep
