Hi Everyone, I've got a fun little game I'd like to try out. The rules are simple, someone says a famous song, such as There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, adds a creatures twist to it -There was an old Ettin who lived in an Ark, and then another person finishes off the next sentence of the song, and so on. Example: First Person: The Norn has got his hat on, Second Person: Hip, hip, hip hooray! Third Person: The Norn has got his hat on, Fourth Person: and he's coming out to play! After the song has been finished you'll have to think up a new song. Here's one to get you started: The Grand old Shee of York, |

Papriko's got a point - I have never heard of that hat song. One which might be particularly ripe is Spike Milligan's Ning Nang Nong Song, but it's too long to really play as a game. My TCR Norns |

Not from anyone directly, though; it was on a tape of English (?) nursery rhymes I was given as a kid.I've never heard of the "hat" rhyme in the OP, though. Maybe this game would work better if the original lyrics of the song we're meant to Creatures-flip were also posted - like I did with "The Grand Old Duke of York". It wouldn't have to be the entire lyrics either, especially if the song is long, but just an extract. What are everyone's thoughts? |
