For several months know I have been feeling a bit strange. I sometimes feel a bit of pressure on my head, and sometimes I feel exhausted for no reason. It hasn't bothered me that much, except that I've been having trouble concentrating sometimes, and I've learned to live with it. However, the thing that made me post this topic on here is that when I looked outside, and then into my dark room, my vision went all funny, like the multicoloured fuzziness you get on Televisons. Could someone tell me what's wrong? |

IANAD, but I had eye issues for years that have (finally) been tentatively diagnosed as a combination of hyper-photo-sensitivity and dry eye. I didn't have the weird discoloration in my vision, but under most strong lighting my eyes would get irritated (which sometimes felt like pressure at the front of my head, right above and behind my eyes) and I'd start to feel "exhausted" from the strain. I can't drive without sunglasses during the day because otherwise my eyes start to hurt.
Even if that's not what's going on with you, I'd definitely try to get this checked out, though.
You have to be honest with yourself when you are writing. If that leads to somewhere unexpected then perhaps you really needed to go there.

That alone seems to be normal. I and the most people I know also have that.
But in combination with the exhaustion and the pressure is 1BDI right. That sounds like doctor visit.

It doesn't really matter that much to be honest. i think it's probably just tiredness, because i've been staying up till 1:00 AM most nights. |

C-rex, I have something similar, I am near sighted, when I look outside and I haven't gone outside in a while, it is way to bright, my eyes won't ajust, and I go inside, and it's like a shock, it becomes worse.
I have always had trouble concentrating, and I am random, but that's just my ADHD.
I also, right after having typed for a long period of time, like I haven't gotten up in an hour or so, my eyes become blurry, a tiny bit once I get up, and if I leave the room or move to much, almost all of my eye sight becomes so blurry, and I can only see a small tiny tad bit of anything, and it takes a while for me to adjust to.
Also, you may not be sick, I personally, get migranes, often, like once a week in some form. The only way to get rid of it, is for me to go to sleep, which takes forever, and if I take medicine, I still need sleep, and it works better with the medicine.
If you have ADD or ADHD, you medication could be the cause, like my medication I take, it causes me to have a loss of appetite, dry mouth, like I need water so often, and if I drink water and it has a certain taste, I will become thirstier. My meds, when they cause the loss of appetite, if I don't eat, I will feel more tired.
The thing with the appetite for me is this, I feel hungry, like my stomache tells me I'm hungry, and yet, my mind and stomache also say I'm not. But, my brain is the one who ONLY says I am not hungry. It's kinda complicated.
Also, I have been staying up till morning, like 8 AM, but, I haven't recently, and the sleep problem is not it, I go to sleep around 9PM, and wake up at 5 AM.
Also, the migrane, mine are often caused by sound, like I have my video game high volume, no problem, and my tv is on, not to loud, and suddenly, a commercial comes on, and guess what, it is an incredibly annoying commercial, the ones that sound so loud, it's like you turned your volume on full blast, but it's supposed to be at a low volume level. That can cause my migrane, and suddenly, all the light in the room makes it worse, the pain is so immense to where I CANNOT, think. I loose control, my mind forces me to turn down the sound, or turn off all causes, or in the case where the cause is too many people talking, I run, no I am serious. My teachers, after my first migrane in class, they tell me if I need to leave the room, I may, but the pain is so immense, I either ignore it, and then it gets to a higher degree to where I am in a state of pain that I scream in pain, cry, or get far as possible away as I can, and the second thing, I will most likely be unable to think, my mind, if I am lucky, will either be able to tell the teacher about it, or I will figure it out that I have either no time left or little time left, so I will run, and if I tell the teacher, I won't have enough time to leave the room, because I will probably make it a few steps, or close to the door, and then it over loads my entire mind.
I REALLY hope you don't have the exact same thing I do.

If I was you, I'd look at things like, am I getting enough sleep? Am I eating right? Am I drinking enough water? and all that other good stuff. Looking after your body will make it less likely to do strange things to you, and if doing the right thing doesn't improve or cure your symptoms, see your doctor.

Thanks everyone for support . I know I might being a bit over the top but i was looking at a health website the other day and I think I may have a brain tumour, but i highly doubt this as only one of my symptoms seems to be listed is loss of concentration and pressure in the head.
If it get's any worse I'll ask my mum to take me to the doctors. |

Mate, the worst possible thing you can do for yourself is self-diagnose - you only end up freaking yourself out. Just get some sleep and eat more veggies and see how that works out for you - if it's worth going to the doctor's about, it's worth a few early nights first!

I wholeheartedly agree with Malkin. I've self-diagnosed myself before, and all it did was cause me needless worry - which made me feel worse and afterwards I promised myself that I'd never look up any symptoms again!
Like Malkin suggested eat well, drink more, grab a few early nights and see how you feel in a few days. You could see your doctor if things don't improve, but it's very unlikely to be a brain tumour - especially considering your age and good health. Your body could just be run down; several 1 AM bedtimes can do that to you. |
