I started a poll about get online day, found out others said 'what'. Get online day is a special day for Docking Station, it is an event EVERY MONTH, and is the first saturday each month. People get online, and have fun. I heard about it recently on the wiki. Give your opinions, if you're particapating, what you plan on doing, etc. I hope others will participate tomorrow! I think I'll be online tomorrow, and probably posting yet another one of the stories I come up with. (Here's a hint of what I am thinking of writing, a Comedy or drama story, and the title will involve norns) beep |

Sounds good to me. I would be online much more often, but I always have to change the color depth. Morrowind runs in 32-bit only. On Linux you CAN start DS in 32-bit color, but its damn slow. Vice Versa is it not so easy. DS runs on 16-bit color depth, but Morrowind will refuse to start. Changing the color depth is here a bit more difficult, but I'll try to join as many Get Online Days as possible. ^^ Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

I have an idea!! While everyone is online on DS for Get Online Day, they should also get on Creatures Caves. I don't know how many of you noticed but "The most users ever online at once was 22 on 7/19/2003." Let's break that record! EDIT: I guess Get Online Day has already passed. Well, we could always schedule more events, maybe make a poll on when is the best time for a new event. Also, I think we can beat the record, 22 is low, and I've been on many forums in the past, and it's usually at least higher than 50. I think, if we contact users, we could break the record. beep |

What about that: You, Rascii or any other person higher than "member", makes a day and a time (I would suggest GMT) public with the CreaturesCaves intern news thingie on the Index page. Everybody comes online at that time. Now, Everyone who is at the moment online in which we BREAK the most-users-record, gets a little price. And the price will be a Special Creature Download! Before the event starts we collect very, very, VERY special creatures from volunteers. Those creatures get collected on another page. All people who have the "right" on a price get a link created with a random generator (I mean a system similar to the random-link-thingie from Yahoo Mail). I have no website, but I would be happy if I could be the manager of that. I won`t download more than the one I may have like the others. People who talked to me ingame know why: I don`t trust creatures with a generation over 100, I HATE creatures I don`t have the right sprites for and I am hobby gengineer. I can build any creature I want and do not need to "steal" it in this way. How do you all like this idea? Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

Wow, it sounds complicated, but I think we can do it, if not, I believe it can be done. Which means, it could be done, but, we just are unable to do it. I like the idea, and to be honest, it is kinda confusing, not too much, but it is kinda confusing. I like the idea, and I don't know if you mean prize or price. That's the main confusing bit. I like the idea, like a miniature version of the CCF. Everyone gets a prize, which is what could attract more people. beep |

so how about this?In exchange for helping break the record,you can get a custom creature,but not a new breed. it sounds similar to papriko's idea,but its kinda like if you take 20 dollars to make sure somone does something,and give it back later. I'm asking because I have ADHD, and I get easily obsessed over things I like, and, I generally pay more attention to the things I obsess. Out of morbid curiousity, do you have a procedure for postponement in the event that the server is down?I was going on DS almost every day a month ago, but then the servers were down when I really wanted a new world, so I left it alone for a few days, which turned into weeks, which...you get the drift.
