Most Creatures players know about the "floating lemons" phenomenon--apparently caused by a bug which allowed Creatures to pick up lemons from great distances. Some called it telekinesis, and it was written into a few fanfics as such.
Now a bug seems to be causing similar effects in C3/DS. I've noticed that Creatures use portals after I've moved them, activate vendors while I'm holding them twenty (game) feet above their heads, and so on. It seems the game (or my game at least) isn't very good at tracking the fact that a held object shouldn't be activateable by Creatures standing where it was when it was on the ground. The result being Norns that activate machinery and otherwise use objects that are nowhere near them.
The telekinetic Norns are back!

It's not really a gene, in C1 it was thought to be due to the 'witch gene'. read about it at the Creatures Wiki!

Floating lemos? Using vendors which are far away? Never had that telekinesis bug O.o
The only thing was when a vendor has delay time before vending. Then my creatures use it and in the delay time I move the vendor...

This brings to mind an idea for an agent that gives creatures that push it telekinises.
