(Meaning 'Norn Oddities' that have occurred with your Creatures causing some sort of strange appearance or action to take place)
For instance:
I have a small handful of Pink Strawberry Norns (made by C-Rex) in one world of my DS called 'The Strawberry Patch'.
Reaching the fourth generation with them, something curious had already occurred! One of my little boy Norns hatched out bright magenta instead of being dark green, which the babies normally are to help them camouflage from predators. Another of my little Strawberries is bright pink instead of the pale light pink colour the guys are supposed to be. I guess that's what happens when you do inbreeding. XP
(Oh, btw, I'm very kind to my cute Sberries! ^_^ Each of them has their own area of the world to explore and they can easily run away if they need to. I added some extra metarooms to give them more space too. They like being alone best but they do get tickled by me. 'Cause I can't resist tickling them!)
I'm back after 11 years. Holy dooley! |

While I've never had the chance to see odd color mutations, I do have an issue with norns that hatch and stare blankly at the screen for their entire lives. If I try to lead them around the ship, the sprites don't change at all and the just slide side to side! Fortunately, because they never move they never breed. Still, it makes me so sad when I get one of these norns because there is nothing I can do for them!

Good to hear your having a good time with my Pink Strawberry Norns Springrain . If you want you could upload them to the Creatures Caves Adoption. It would be interesting to hear their progress.
By the way, if you have any trouble mating them you could use the Inseminator. |

rainbowcat, Sliders are quite common. a simple "targ norn dead kill targ" should fix the problem. It is fast and without pain.
Ok, now a story... urm... Once I had (long ago on my DS) a world to test new agents I downloaded and experimenting with the CAOS console. I kept there a Siamese Norn, a clone (with that export and copy trick) of that Siamese and a Banshee Grendel. they were peaceful and never slapped each other because I gave them so much food and told them to eat.
When I tried to put a Pink Poodle Ettin to them, they instantly stopped eating and all 3 slapped the Ettin togther to death.O.o
I promise that I did not told them to do that. I even said them to stop!
Whatever I did, they stayed Ettin-Haters.

@rainbowcat1 - Aww, poor little Sliders. I've heard of them before. I've only received them rarely through the warp or sometimes in my C3 game but I always feel sorry for them too. Usually the most humane thing I can do for them is 'export then delete'. It'd be good if there was a way to 'heal' them. I notice they do still like attention and company.
@C-Rex - Thank you, yes I am enjoying them very much! I was planning to upload them to the adoption section but I just have to make sure I get their pictures taken first. Lol. ^_^ Also, I do like to use the wonderfully convenient 'Cupid's Lyre' agent but where can I find the 'Inseminator', just out of curiosity?
@Papriko - I know! D: I'm not sure why it happens, but sometimes when you introduce a new 'species' to an existing group of Creatures, they all gang up on it! Poor, poor Ettin.
Oh yes, with my two families of Siamese Norns I'm having a few interesting Nornities (XD) as well. I have the Super Siamese in one world and my normal Siamese in another. The Super Siamese are for some reason occasionally having Chi Chi parts even though they are purebred and the Siamese in my other world are beginning to have lots of pretty colour mutations. So far red and blue pigment genes are the strongest. I have some faint blue male Siamese (151 blue pigment) and some kind of golden coloured females (151 red pigment) and they look gorgeous. Not to mention that when they reach old age, some of my Norns seems to go completely batty. "Eat toy" and "Eat Norn" are often heard. XD

@springrain_thats simply what will happen to norns, first goes there memory, than goes common sense and all of its benefits. But your norns are lucky! it usually happens to norns the second their born!

Well, I already told the story: the Worker Siamese were my first try of gengineering and I just improved them when I was a bit better. ^^'
