If a Norn is unnamed, he'll say "Me like so-and-so", which makes any Norns that like him say "Anjo like me" or what have you. What's really funny is if a lot of Norns don't have names, they all end up saying "me like me" (or even, "me dislike me"!)   Pyromaniac605   12/17/2010 One of my Norns had a strange tendancy trying to eat doors, the first time I saw a speech bubble pop up with the word "eat door" I laughed for five minutes straight! Anyway, when a norn is failing the test I have to wait 30+ minutes for them to starve to death, often doing something as riveting as 'quiesce self'. (I'm actually watching a Toxic Norn starve to death at this very moment.) Anyway, with one norn I was reading up on CAOS commands while watching her, and I decided to use 'targ norn sezz' to make her say "I am too stupid to survive this test." "one time i was trying to teach my c1 or ds norns that hitting was bad, I was just talking like "no hit norn" or "no pull norn" pull norn hurt" then after i said it they all said at the same time "Ow" " C1 norns get the 'slapped by hand' stim when you say 'no' to them. I've often seen them go 'ouch' when I say 'no'. "When Grog says he's 'extremely angry', his punchbag Norn friend Ju Yun says "maybe express norn grog" I have no idea what he means!" Express means 'say how you're feeling' (in other words, what he just did). It slightly reduces anger to express, so it makes sense that your norn would recommend it. "Hit Grendel? Ok. Hit Fruit? Maybe. Hit Self? Ooookay, now it becomes strange. But HIT SOMETHING? Where should a norn find something? And the even more important question: Something WHAT?" Hit anything! Anyway, now I want to make an agent that inserts a script for hitting yourself, thereby enabling self-injury. By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff. And they certianly arent grendels." Probably been hanging out with grendels. "I've noticed that Treehugger norns will tell a bored norn to 'push bug.' I've never seen any norns except Treehuggers say it. It suits them well." It's in their instincts to push bug when bored. Part of a bunch of tweaks to make them more likely to interact with wildlife. You can get a lot of hints about norns' instincts from what they advise others to do. Oh, right now I'm working on a test where a bunch of norns are in a world with a C3 grendel with genus gene turned to norn, and I've been asking other norns what they think about her. Mostly they dislike her. By the way, I don't care if anyone steals my ideas for their own work, as long as you don't try to stop me from making my own stuff. Many ideas I mention are things I don't have the time or skill to actually do.   Prodigal Sock Ghosthande     4/25/2012 One of my Norns just said, "maybe retreat something angry" ...I don't have any Norns named "angry".   Lazarae   5/12/2012 Had a great one in my group of hunters- one's a yautja female named Anita, who has a bad habit of slapping the other hunters around. She's usually a little funny because I don't think she realizes the effect she has- when other norns announce "me dislike/hate Anita" she always responds with "me like norn!" Well I guess she finally snapped because they started up another loop of "me like/dislike/whatever X" and one announced their hatred of Anita, and the other norns chorused in in kind. Anita's response? "Maybe approach grendel home"   Lollipop Lord C-Rex     12/23/2012 I've had Norns in Creatures 2 forget their names; once I left a female Hebe Norn named Anne with a Grendel for a while and when I came back she'd renamed herself "Anan". XD   FlyingEttiNorn   12/23/2012 Sometimes my norns say "Kiki-shiki very bored" or "Kapu hungry for protein" or anything that involves complaining and another norn says "Maybe left/right something" and it's funny cause it makes me think that they're saying "Wow, maybe your right about something" or "Maybe you dropped what you need, why don't you go get it?" xD Edit: A few minutes ago I had put Aakm, a male Aquanorn into the same area as Kapu, a crippled female Amphibious Draconian Norn, who spent all her time eating Zoras. So, he just sits there, watching Kapu eat from the castle (and occasionally taking a few for himself) when he suddenly says "Aakm eat dispenser"! Also, Kapu is only a first gen with a Cupid's Halo, and she has a crippling gait. She retreats a bit whenever she takes a step which makes it very hard for her to go places. Why does this happen, if she is only first gen...?   ratkinzluver33   12/24/2012 Before I recently deleted my world, I had an Ettin who would constantly say "eat self" or "eat machinery"... or pretty much anything to do with things she certainly shouldn't have been eating. It was very strange. ~Ratty <3   Wee Scrivener Trell     12/24/2012 One of my Civet Norns used to always say "maybe eat Mum" or "Rocky eat Mum" until he died in a sludge gun accident. Apparently he got it into his head that the Hand is a good source of starch, because moments before the accident, one of the Magma Norns said she was hungry for starch, and he said "maybe eat Mum Beth"! Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Lollipop Lord C-Rex     8/24/2013 In KT I currently have two Sabertooth Norns, Sabre and Fang. Fang got bitten by a Rex, and told Sabre, "Fang really scared".
